Oh come let's sing Ohio's praise
And songs to Alma Mater raise
While our hearts rebounding thrill
With joy which death alone can still
Summer's heat or winter's cold
The seasons pass the years will roll
Time and change will surely show
How firm thy friendship ... O-HI-O!

The game's at Michigan.

In other news, the rumors are flying around Montgomery, AL that Tubberville will be tendering his resignation either directly after the Iron Bowl or the following week because of "neck and back problems"

i would love to see tOSU play OU.
it would be one of the most lopsided NC games ever. but i dont think it really matters who OU plays. the result will be the same for any opposing team, they will be walking away completely beaten and embarassed.

Kinda like what people were saying Miami would do to OSU last year?

Michigan is going to kill Ohio State and that will be the end of that.
Southern Cal is a better team regardless.

Yea, last year people thought Miami was like an NFL team or something, until the Buckeyes throttled them.

This years OSU team is not as good as last years OSU team. OU on the other hand is better than they were last year. OU has a way better offense, and they have a better defense to. If its OU vs OSU, OU by 14

"if you think tOSU has a shot against OU, youre dreaming. whats this? barely escaping against purdue?"

Purdue could give Oklahoma a good game, let alone Ohio State.

just like Texas was supposed to?
just like Oklahoma State was supposed to?

the only team that has played this team close is Alabama @ Tuscaloosa.
its all a moot point anyways. OU is playing USC or tOSU and winning no matter what.

Hey Sooner fan.....the fact is that your team is very good, no doubt...however......Alabama isn't very good...Colorado isn't very good...they both gave your team a tough time, so let's not act like this is an NFL team...in fact, I would say Miami's team last year is better than OU's team this year.

The big 12 isn't very good at all this year - K.St, Nebraska, Colorado, Missouri, Oklahoma St - none of these teams are very good. Texas has a lot of talent but can't seem to get over the Oklahoma hurdle - I think Spurrier should go there when he quits the beloved patriot job....

USC, Ohio St, and LSU are all good - saying you know who would win among the three is pointless unless they play each other.

Hehe, the other rumor I've heard is that Spurrier was seen eating at Cheeburger Cheeburger in downtown Auburn on Sunday night. :)
I love these coaching rumors...they're so entertaining.

Time for them to get a couple more All Americans on their O line, seeing as Baylor sacked White five times. If OU faces OSU for the national championship, either:
-Their offensive line is going to have to take a huge step up in order to give Jason White time to throw
-They are going to have to throw a lot of really short passes
or
-They are going to have to run a lot.

People that have tried to run on OSU this year havent exactly had a lot of sucess, you might have noticed. I dont think the offensive line is going to get good enough to block Smith and Anderson one on one, leaving them open to the blitz. Which (as I see it) leaves OU with the short pass... which has been moderately effective on the Buckeyes this year (if only because most teams have the problems outlined above).

OTOH, OSU will be offensively exactly where they have been the whole year: depending on good field position provided to them by the defense in order to get field goals (OSU's kicker, Nugent, is pretty darn good) and the occasional TD, because if they managed to drive for TDs, plural, I'd be shocked. In a match against OU, the TDs may have to come directly from the defense. But OSU is pretty good at that.

Nitemare's predictions.

Either Ohio State by 1-3 points with questionable referree calls, or Michigan by 3 touch downs
