The liberal scam is easy, and they're intent on duplicating it here in America because it worked so well in Europe. As a politician or bureaucrat, funnel as much of the taxpayer dollars that you can into your personal special interest or department. Spend and allocate money on everything BUT the essential services that the taxpayers actual want. Get firmly in bed with the media. Then, when money runs low, go to the people and tell them that schools will close and police and jail funding will be cut unless the people agree to new taxes. Rinse and repeat this for a few decades (and because the common people are stupid and can't remember anything that happened more than 3 years ago) and *voila* you just made a free republic a socialist communist bureacracy. :|
