So my wife in the goodness of her heart got one of my son's an extra pair of snow boots because his were always getting wet during recess...he is 7.

My wife's fatal mistake? Not doing the bully checklist...


Boots color = black (no-issue)
Boots design = stitched diamonds (resembles women's boots...raise the threat level to Orange)
Boot top = fuzzy black fur stuff all the way around (3 red alarms...DO NOT BUY FOR SON)

So my wife sends my oldest son after a LENGTHY "discussion" from my end about how boy's would view these boots...I lost...with much disgust, due to the current pair being wet inside.

So she sends him off to school in these 'boots' and I get a call the second he gets off the bus today...

He is balling saying he was harassed all day about the boots and picked on because he was wearing Girl boots...

To make matters worse his snow pants were forgotten, so it wasn't like he could hide them under the pant legs lol.

Talk about feeling bad...my wife was 'shocked' that he got picked on...and appears to be in some disbelief still that it was even conceivable because the boots didn't seem 'that bad'.

Good thing you don't live in the middle east. Dressing like "a gay" would warrant a stoning in the middle east, and I don't mean the 420 kind.
 
THere's only one way to fix this. You as a responsible dad need to hot glue razor blades in the toes of his boots then send him to school in them. Tell him if anyone gives him shit, kick them where it counts while yelling TERRORISTS!! They won't make fun of him anymore. Stand by your woman.

Tell your wife to stop being so naive as to not think he would be bullied over that. Of course he would. We all accept bullying sucks and it stupid. But it still happens and will happen for all man-kind.

In 1st grade when it started snowing for the first time my Mom made me ware a snow suit that belonged to one of my older sisters because we were too poor to afford a new one.

It was pink.

I refused to go to recess, I would just stay inside so I wouldn't have to put on the suit. After three days my sisters (who went to the same school) told my mom either to buy me my own suit, or stop making me ware it to school because even THEY were embarrassed for me.

Women are supposed to have a lot of things, but I think it's mostly propaganda. Tell a lie often enough, and with confidence, people will start believing it.
 
Definitely buy new boots ASAP. Also, get your son to give you some names. Let the teachers/principles know.

Nothing says, "Bitch, I will rat on your ass and make your life HELL" like a surprise visit from the principle. :awe: Seriously. Some of those kids will be likely to get more shit from their abusive parents than you can imagine. :awe: And guess what? They might not pick on him anymore for any reason. Kid can go full homo with the fashion accessories and all they can do is keep quiet. 😛
