I just got back from the dentist. My teeth and gums are perfect, but they did an oral cancer check and noticed this lump on the left side of my soft pallet. The skin color looks the same as the other side, there's just a lump or bump there.
I never felt it until they pointed it out and i can feel it now with my tongue and finger. its not noticeable unless i move my tongue to the top and back of my mouth though.
it feels pretty big to me compared to the right side.
they told me to have my physician check it. luckily, i already have an appointment for something else today, an ingrown toenail, so they can check it today.
I don't smoke and I don't chew tobacco so I know that's not a cause.
