Considering the US election is extremely important to the global political climate. Having some oversight, not saying Russian oversight, but possibly UN oversight, should probably be welcomed. Being a global player means that we owe not just our country, but the world, a fair election.

The European group said it will observe the U.S. election with a delegation of 439 people from 10 countries deployed nationwide. The delegation includes at least one Russian.

I'd just LOVE to have Russian monitors at our elections IF and ONLY IF we are allowed to scrupulously do the same to theirs.

I think you are missing the point. By just knowing the headline, and whatever specific quote in the article that aroused enough emotion in the OP to spur the posting, I then comment on how I feel it would best be resolved.

In this instance, I suggested a more independent oversight, and viola! The OSCE has a 57 country delegation that monitors elections!!! I arrived at that independent (or ignorant for the mean-spirited) of anything that the article said. Now if I had read the article, I would have already known that oversight is already conducted, and automatically inferred that it was "correct", and not been able to come to my independent conclusion.

I would be surprised if Putin wants Trump in the office. I worry there will come serious war for sure if Trump would become president. Putin would prefer the Clintons much more in my opinion as they are more into having a dialog and solving problems in a realistic way .

China is just a country full of people who try to live their lives just like we do. China depends on global trade and commerce just as we all do.
