he never ceases to amaze.....he is a pitcher's worst nightmare even when no one is on base. Arroyo could have been a good deal too (keep him for 11 million and have him pitch lots of quality innings), but the yanks have him numbered.

Moose has always been a reliable pitcher. I'd take him over the big unit anyday because he is consistant.

I'm starting to change my tune about Proctor. He's gotten some big outs of late and has looked much better than he ever has. I'm still shocked by the amount of confidence that Torre has in him though.

Edited for "deal of the century" clarity ;)

Too bad about Matsui tonight... that's gotta hurt, physically and lineupwise.

Yes, I know that. When I said the Sox got the deal of the century I didn't mean that they actually dealt for him. I meant they got a great deal. Bad choice of words I guess.

The Little Unit is stinking it up again. He just looks old though he did have the leadoff hit struck out though the home plate ump called it a ball.

The Yanks were down 9 runs in the second inning and have just went ahead of the Rangers 11 to 10. How fvcking pathetic is the Rangers pitching?? Incredibly pathetic. wow

I don't think it's age. With age, usually the velocity is what suffers. Sure, he doesn't throw 98 anymore, but 93-94 is certainly hard enough to get the job done. It's his location that is the problem, which means that it's probably mechanical.

Then I hope his mechanics are still busted for his next start versus the Mets. ;)

One of the best games I have seen in quite some time...certainly the best this year.

What I find the most amazing about this game is that they did it with 3 of their 4 biggest bats on the bench.
