god I hate that tool Michael Kay. A impressive comeback against those big badass Royals? Give me a break. With that lineup the Yanks should score 20 runs against those bums.

Oh, stop it. It was a hanging breaking ball in the middle of the strike zone.
And ask Posada who the ump was squeezing, the Yanks or KC.

I agree. But to be fair the Royals pen is not as bad as you may think.

Burgos has good stuff (thats my last name.. :) ) and they have some decent young pitching but really..the Yanks should murder this team without a problem.

I still hate Michael Kay. I'm amazed at how many Yankee fans agree with me on that. I prefer Kaat and Singleton together. I don't mind Murcer and O'Neill.

I don't hate Kay, but he's not great.
I HATE Sterling and Waldman. They are the worst radio team in history. Unlistenable. Give me Gary Cohen anyday.

I guess you will have to settle for a 2 run win over the lowly Royals. Who knows what would have happened if the ump didn't help load the bases for you though. I guess thats what $200 mil buys you these days.

lol..Sterling is hilariously bad but he always makes me laugh so he has that above Kay. Waldman must have an embarrassing pic of Steinbrenner or something.

I'm glad the Yanks brought Cairo back this year. He was solid for them in 2004 and I thought it was a bad move for them to let him go last year.

He wasn't so hot with the Mets last season for some reason. Better than Kaz Matsui for sure but that is not saying much. He's best as a utility/spot starter and not as an everyday starter.

He does. He's supposed to have good stuff, although it's not apparent today.

sophomore slumps for chacon and wang. yankees pitching sucks, which is why the red sox will beat their ass even without the gajillion dollar batting lineup.

Sophomore slump? Chacon has been playing since 2001. And it's way too early to tell with Wang, he had 2 starts.

True, so what? Players have traditionally done much better in their 2nd year in NY than in their first.

That's why I wish the Yanks had held onto him last year. I would have rather had Cairo getting pinch hit ABs and spot starts instead of Rey Sanchez or Felix Escalona.

Well what do you know, Scott Proctor is having an excellent outing. I hope I'm wrong about him, but I still don't like him.

Too bad for Santana. It drives me nuts when a starter does well only for the bullpen to implode and just mess it all up.

Nice job by the Proctologist. Might as well get Mariano in there for the rest of the game to finish it up.
