To tell you the truth...i'm not impressed. I'll stick with my comp 😀
Me neither. The 360 brings nothing new to the table.
Besides much better (high definition) graphics, more enemies (with better AI), bettery physics, more Xbox Live features, media center extender, etc.

I'm presuming you are comparing the 360 to the original Xbox. If you are comparing it to the PC, then that's a whole different debate.

Apparently RPG isn't a "popular genre"

unless you consider Kameo an RPG...

Well, there was an RPG until Oblivion got bumped back to first quarter of next year. 🙁

Not when you factor in price. Try playing COD2 on a $400 PC.😛 I paid $350 for my GT6800 alone last year. What a video card that's quicker than the 360 going for?

I played Kameo for a couple of hours last night, and it was stunning. The games for the 360 are only going to get better with time, and I won't feel the need to upgrade my 360 for the next 5, compared to every other year for my PC.

You cant factor in price, one is a one trick pony, the other does hundreds of things...

The fact that its sole purpose is already being passed by the PC is a shame.

Im really hoping for some nice 360 titles though, i was severely disappointed in my xbox.

You can do all but one of those hundreds of things on a $400 PC too. You won't be playing current games though.

Can't factor in price? Yeah, right. You just keep telling yourself that.

i agree that the xbox 360 is a pony that can do 1 trick, it may do it better than the pc even but soon the pc will do that trick better and a few others too.

Oh yeah? Show me a PC that can play PGR3, PDZ, Kameo, NHL 2k6, Condemned, etc. No matter how great your PC is, you aren't going to be playing those games (and MANY more great ones to come) on it.

And yes, the same example can be made vice-versa.

Gaming on a console is a completely different experience than gaming on a PC... So why are we comparing apples to oranges?

Im talking from a graphics perspective, not proprietary titles.

I agree they are different, but i am not as impressed with the graphics demos this time around.

Graphics wise, SLI systems are already matching the xbox. With the R600 and G80 PC graphics will be far ahead, usually consoles are not passed that quickly.

So, you're saying that a couple of video cards in SLI (which retail near $1000) are "already matching" the $300 Xbox 360? Well, ummm... HELLO?

And yes, I do think it's fair to make this comparison, since those graphics cards sole purpose is gaming.

But again, it doesn't matter. Because no matter how great of a PC you have, you are still going to be missing out on some great gaming experiences. (And of course, vice-versa.)

PC vs console? you are kidding me. Fact is...games ceated for a console are made for that console. Games created for a computer are made for whatever the general public has. No one code just for teh lastest and greatest video card. It has been discussed time and time again. Cease with this PC vs console debate.

The only thing I like about consoles are the games created for them are optimized for that one system only, in comparison to a PC. I still prefer PC though

i hope the ps3 is the console to get (i have like 10 ps2 games...) but the revolution looks interesting. oh yea the 360 is nothing impressive.

It may be the console to get two years or more from now when games like MGS4 and the next Gran Turismo are released. So far, Sony won't even talk about games that could be released at PS3 launch much less show playable demos. By that time, the 360 will be several generations deep in title releases.

don't get me wrong, this console will be great and there will be some great games, but it seems like Microsoft didn't go that extra mile to make it really next gen, based on some of my observations, it does seem like Xbox 1.5

First, HD is only available over component, no HDMI or DVI.
Second, DVD is the only format, no next gen disc technology.
Third, they removed the HD as a standard, and it is only availbe for extra

I have a feeling PS3 is gonna clean house when it comes out.

Call of Duty 2 on my 2 year old AMD computer with Radeon 9800 Pro looks better than COD 2 on the Xbox 360 in HD on the Samsung DLP I saw at Best Buy.
