Is the co-op pretty decent on crackdown ? My brother is coming down this week, was thinking about picking it up.

The game itself seems pretty fun, from the demo at least.
Does crackdown offer split screen co-op? I didn't notice that in the options
There is no split-screen co-op.
So that means co-op over live or link only ? Bummer. I wish they would specify that in the features(unless I missed it)
Yep, Live or link only. One thing to keep in mind also that if you link, both 360's MUST have hard drives. Somebody elsewhere on the net found this out the unfortunate way, but apparently it's in the fine print on the back of the case.

Well, chalk up another so called "exclusive" our way. The first 360 shots are revealed. I believe it will have co-op over live. The article states a fall 2007 release date for multiple systems.

Wow, for PC and PS2 as well! I knew it would come to the 360. As things currently stand, you would be a fool to release your product exclusively for the PS3. Unless you hate money.

Mercenaries was a great game, I look forward to the second installment.

Oh yea, they got a bit of work to do on those shots. Although, they could be wrong the resolution and messed up JPG. But co-op over live with achievements I'm pretty much sold and I'm officially going broke this fall.

I thought about it, but will be too busy for a while.

Just got crackdown, have COD3 from gamefly, and lost planet and battlestations:midway shipped yesterday from gamefly. Not to mention I'm addicted to R6.

Will probably rent this game and use my gamefly coupons/discount to buy it if it's good.

also is anyone else experiencing a lot of lag in co-op Crackdown? I have only played with one person, and we just breezed by the time trials to get the achievement heh, but we had a noticeable amount of lag.

It's off and on... seems like it's usually temporary. But while it's lagging, it's pretty bad. Overall, it has been lag-free a majority of the time. Damn it is fun.

Hmm looks like I'll try to pick up the normal version of Rockstar's Table Tennis. I've heard it's good although I don't know how Table Tennis can be that great . But getting a normally marked game (as in retailers wanna sell those first) for $30 is better than $50 :p.

I thought that game was extremely boring..... don't know if I played it for more than an hour or so. Glad I rented it...

Wing Commander coming to XBLA!

Wing Commander Arena is a fast-paced space combat game where players can team up to attack other teams of ships. The game introduces the classic franchise to an arcade-style experience that allows up to 16 players online in battle at once. Players can propel their customized ship through space, fire torpedoes and unleash deadly gravity bombs as they try to climb the leader board. Online players will compete for Frag count, high score and dueling stats.

"We're really excited to deliver unparalleled multi-player arcade action," said Chip Lange, EA Vice President. "The design for Wing Commander will appeal to both long-time fans of the franchise and immediately engage anyone who wants the melee style action of an arcade shooter."

Wing Commander Arena will feature four styles of play: single player, multi-team, multi-player free for all and multi-player duel. Within the game there are eight game maps that include team maps, free for all maps and dueling maps, so Wing Commander Arena offers a gameplay experience for every Arcade gamer, whether they want a quick ten minutes of action or a longer more immersive game.

WOOT! Well, maybe a half-WOOT since this is coming from EA...

Only thing different really is the packaging and price.

So can someone answer a question about crackdown for me...
in coop, if someone joins MY game, then if we beat a boss, it counts for my game save?

If I join someone else's game, and we beat bosses, does it count for mine too? or just for theirs? because I dont' want to beat the game yet, I just want to rank up first. I'd like to join others people's games just to rank up then finish mine if that's how it works:D

Is Media Center working for everybody? Mine stopped working for some reason. When I connect to it, it says that I am unable to use XBL and asks if I would like to troubleshoot. Very strange. XBL works just fine.

I reinstalled Windows on on of my computers since the last time I connected to it (a few days ago).

Hmm, I may have to scope out to see if I can find a "normal" Burnout Revenge for the same price. :) Thanks!

man. on the medium setting, crackdown gets nuts when you fight the volks. they're fvcking everywhere and their guns are insane. i keep getting rocked; but, i do have the rocket launcher and that is wicked fun (i leveled up to 3 stars on explosives pretty quickly with that).

I'm leveling up pretty quickly in Crackdown. I've got 3 stars on agility, 1 on driving (haven't worked on it a lot), 2 on explosives, 3 on strength, and 2 on firearms. All that, and I just dispatched the first Volk gang. I do wish there was a little more depth to the game overall, but defeating the gangs are pretty much the same. Decide whether you want to level up firearms, strength, or explosives, then proceed to kill all enemies with that tactic. I've gotten my strength up so high so quickly because I decided to just kill every enemy in a couple of Los Muertos gang spots using hand-to-hand combat.

I thought I would post my problem here,

I just got a 360 and when I connect to live it says that my IP address failed in the live test, but when I plug it into my original Xbox it connects to live just fine.

FYI, I am running my live from my router to the back of my xbox, my router being connect to my modem :p

Does anyone know why this is happening? Or a solution?

Thanks
