IMO every high end Video Card that is released and has as many reviews as this one, the thread should be stickied for all to see. I mean what else in the world of the video forum would warrant a sticky? It is obvious this is worth that stature, as well as anything that makes a big debut. Do you guys agree?

Although i dont know what a sticky is i would like it.
I gather you mean being stuck on top for a while of Page 1.
This is why we need a mod.

Yes exactly. Just as the LCD one and 3Dmark06 is.The release of a new high end graphics card is as big as news gets in the video forum.

And yes I would and will recommend the same for nVidia when the time arrives.

Althopugh some people like their reviews you have to wonder what they are smoking sometimes I hate the crappy graphs they use as they confuse me more than needs be and who are they to tell us what the top usable instance is. That is entirley subjective and not what a benchmark should be.
I see that noone has flamed you yet so I wont join unless that happens (i am not registered there) but if you someone does then post here again and we will be there like a flash....kicking ass.
Inter forum thashfest, could turn ugly. 😉

Given [[/i]H[/i]]'s track record, I'd expect a ban over there shortly if I were you (never mind that you have perfectly valid points)...

Well hopefully they can rise above that and discuss the issue maturely...wait what am I saying this is HardOCP run by hot-headed Kyle afterall!

Some impressive Fear and Far Cry benchmarks. Also the new crossfire version seems to be delivering.

If you're having trouble reading the benchmark results look at Firingsquad's review. Their graphs are really clear and easy to read.

H's method is good, however it doesn't give real comparative information however it does give details about high quality modes which are often ignored by most review sites.

True, its a shame i think its not implemented in a great way.
the bit tech review also does this method. yet why does it not seem so bias.

I hope you send hate mail to the Inq as well.

I don't think that the Hardocp did that bad of a job. Not everyone is going to give the same results and I don't think the skewed the numbers any.

The Tech Report showed SLI winning over Crossfire, why not send them a forum post?

I didn't have a problem with HardOCP's numbers or testing. Re-read my post again.

The X1900 is what the X800 should have been. What a stanker the X800 was with no pixel 3 support, i feel sorry for those people. I'm planning on getting a 2400FPW next month, but looks like i'll have to hold out till Fall for generation 8. Hopefully that will hold out for 4 generations like the Geforce4s did.

In gpu-heavy games like Doom3 and FEAR the single x1900 is about twice as fast as a single x850xt pe at 1600x1200 resolutions with AA and AF. If my x800 supported sm3, I would most likely not be running these games with all the sm3 eye candy enabled. And neither will anyone with the SM3 6-series cards.

Wow. Its available in New Zealand, the furthest country down under 😀

Well done ATi, XT prices are currently at ~700USD. While the XTX is 1000USD like the 7800GTX 512mb. :Q
For a mere 25mhz increase in core, the prices difference is 300!!

Extremetech Review:

"The difference here is that the numbers of units have been changed. There are still 8 vertex shader units and 16 texture units, as in the X1800 cards. The raster operation units have actually been reduced to 12, but the pixel shader units have tripled in number to a whopping 48...."

ROPs=12?

If U R going to write Reviews, do it right! G.. Damn it..
