the Swiss played OK, very well in the first half. Vonlanthen is AWESOME, although he only had one good chance, he's 18! Even younger than Rooney! :D

Can you believe this is only the second time ever England have ever qualified from the group stages, the only other time we've done it was in 96 when we hosted it...

I'm watching the replay of the France/Switzerland game. The French aren't playing very well, and the Swiss are, once again, playing dirty,

Haha. Rooney looks a bit retarded though..but his playing skills are certainly sharp. Poor Owen must feel like the earth moved without gravity udnerneath his heels.

So far, I like Portugal's (is that what the country is called in English?) style of playing the best. Portugese Ronaldo is certainly awesome.

There will always be an England
An England through and through
If England means as much too you as England means too me
Red and white is true
We can depend on you
Shout it out loud
Stand and be proud

Come on, England!

England vs. Croatia was breathtaking. Great stuff. I rank it right next to Czech vs. Holland in terms of entertainment value.

England played in superb form and Croatia was unlucky to miss a couple of good chances of their own which could have potentially turned the table a bit.

France has been once again awfully disappointing and far from convincing. Trezeguet has been far from effective and Thierry is playing the role of a centre forward which does not suit him at all. I think Henry and Saha will be a more effective striking pair, with Saha up front and Henry attacking from the left wing with the backings of Zidane, Pires and Lizarazu. Santini shouldn't forget that Henry is a convert from winger, and he plays best when he plays the way he plays for Arsenal.

Today was loaded with attacking football from centre midfield. Tomorrow we can expect some exciting attacks from the wings when we watch Denmark vs. Sweden. :D

HELLAS !!!!!!!!!! ELLADARA SE AGAPO GIA SENA TRAGOUDO

I wasn't visiting the forum for the last dayz.
Crap!!! I wanted to share my emotions with you ppl!! :(
YEEEEEEEES!!! HELLAS on QF.
:brokenheart:

Except for being very proud for my country I have to say these for the rest

HOLLAND : I can't believe it. My beloved Holland is facing the disqualification  :( This team has a curse. I can't understand why Advocaat is not playing with 2 attackers. He's a fvcking moron. Can't believe that Germany may advance to the next round, leaving Holland outside. CMON HOLLAND. RUUD RUUD RUUD RUUD!!!! ADVOCAAT FVCK U AND GO HOME

SPAIN : Very good team, but loosers. It's not the first time. HELLAS ownz U!!! HA HA!!

PORTUGAL : After the first match shock against us (HELLAS), showed their real potential and the character of a big team against Spain. Bravo.

RUSSIA : If Russians didn't have these defenders they might have done more damage to this group. Highly respectable team

FRANCE : France is always France. But not the team of 1998-2000. It's gonna be a loooong Friday for us.

ENGLAND : They deserved to qualify. But they are the same. Capable for the best or the worse.

SWITZERLAND : Respectable presence but what could they do in that group ?

CROATIA : Aahhh the neighbors!!! Great fighters, but nothing to remind the great team of Asanovic,Prosinecky,Suker etc etc.

ITALY : The team of arrogant mfvckers. I hope they disqualify. Totti you $hithead!!!

SWEDEN : Not a surprise for me. With players like Zlatan,Lungberg,Larsson and Svensson they are capable for great thingz.

DENMARK : Always strong and capable of giving 100% of their potential. Great team.

BULGARIA : The dissapointment of this Euro. Ahh where's Balakov,Stoichkov ???

GERMANY : I CANNOT BELIEVE THAT THIS TEAM CAN ADVANCE LEAVING HOLLAND OUTSIDE. Nothing to remind the great team of the past. Sure they played well against Holland in the first match, but seriously do they deserve to advance leaving the Dutch outside? I mean they are the face of the bad soccer.

LATVIA : They know the sport. Such a small country with such courage and discipline. Bravo.

CZECH : Great fighters. Great team. Amazing Karel,Pavel. Czech vs Holland was probably one of the greatest games of all times. The beauty of soccer. But I hate them. :D They didn't deserve the win against Holland.

Final words.
I luv u HELLAS. You made me proud.
Cmon Holland. You can do it.

So true to point and hilarious assessments for each country. :D

If Holland gets knocked out, I'm cheering for France and Czech. :) I am starting to become a fan of Denmark too, though.

You don't need me to tell you that you have a superior team. But you better watch out, becuase you'll need a lot of  if u underestimate us.
That's what the Spanish and Portuguese thought of us and look at them now.
We are tough mfvkers. :D

I agree. Ericsson has done a great job and their presence till now is really good. They are showing character and I believe that they have great potential. Now, if Owen finds the way for the net they have more changes. He's doing of course more dirty work with his assists (somethin unusual for a player like Owen) but they 'll definately need his scoring. Lampard is amazing.

Erm I just have to point out we are the tournaments top scorers without a single goal from Owen so I would like to add we don't need his goals ;) which is good cause he's been crap, we'd be much better off starting Vassell and bringing Owen on as a sub late on...

Well I think you're not 100% correct. I'm a huge fan of MUFC so you can understand my feelings for a liverpool boy,and I can't believe I'm saying that but Owen is essential for this team.
He's a perfect match for boy wonder (Rooney) and IIRC he has given 3 assists at least for goals.
Of course he's not scoring, but as I said he's doin the dirty work. Darious is an excellent player but I believe that Eriscsson knows very well that he can help more when he's comin from the bench. He's fast and he can do great damage as a substitution. But I don't think that he could help so much if he was in the starting lineup. Ericsson knows what he's doing. He isn't Advocaat :disgust:
But with knock out games comin up Owen needs to find his scoring talent. Because in these games the lost changes cannnot be forgiven. So you might need Owen's goals, much more than you can imagine right now.

You know I feel kinda weird. From the one side I feel so happy for my country, but on the other I feel such dissapointment and anger for Holland's situation.
I luv and support Holland almost as much as my country and I have vast amounts of tapes with history and matches of dutch soccer.
I hope Holland qualify and stand next to my country to the QF. Let's hope bro for the sake of beautiful soccer

Don´t think so, the english players are just not good enough... IMO.
