I can't believe you guys question tottis class when you obviously have none, cassano had another amazing game, with a brilliant goal. A comment like that shows you aren't a soccer fan, just another mule that follows the crowd, like the rest of the sheep who hate Italy for the only reason that its the popular thing to do these days. Italy did what they had to do this game, they just got unlucky with the other match, thats the way things go. I'm sure you soccer geniuses will jump on another teams bandwagon to hate soon enough.

Totti? The person who spits at others? Real classy that. Have you ever considered that the reason many dislike Italy is their cynical way of playing the game, with constant diving/acting and defensive based tactics. They were not unlucky - Denmark deserved to beat them in the opening match which would have put them out sooner.

Har!

The damn Italians are out! Happy day!

Wonder which piece of equipment they'll blame... won't be their codpiece, as it' not as if they had anything to protect.... Valiant effort at the end though.. Perhaps this will the convince the Italian Football Association to train their players to actually score VS having a tea party in the penalty area..... Nver having scored more then two goals in any Euor match, makes it difficult to swallow when you face elimination by goal differential...

Despite the 2-2 score, I thought the Denmark/Sweden game was a little boring, as both were playing a bit cautious...

Erm yeah Totti has a lot of "class" spitting at someone...

Oh and we hate Italy because all they ever do is cheat and whine, nothing is ever their fault it's always other teams and officials conspiring to get them eliminated. They never own up to the fact that they're just not that good as a team there's too many individuals.

/me smells sour grapes :)

I said totti has more class than a sheep talking sh!t about a 21 year old who just scored a game winning goal in the 90+ minute.

You're just another troll that picks up what other people have said and spits it back out, its gets a little old after a while. Do you even have anything to say about the way Italy played, no, cause you don't know enough about soccer to come up with a thought of your own.

Get a tape go watch the game again, Denmark had possesion, but Italy clearly had the better scoring chances. So constant diving/acting and defensive based tactics, uh oh, another genious who completly missed the last two games. You guys should be getting worried you're running out of things to bitch about. And I guess you don't watch any soccer cause acting/diving is in every game, so again nice try.

Because he spit a player and he's an arrogant prick?

Hmmm yes because it was so obvious they conspired to draw 2-2

Moron there is no conspiracy

Well $martass of course this is a possibility, but:

1. Both are from the North
2. Nobody loses and they both advance
3. A score like 2-2 is what both needed, and not an everyday score

I suspect respect is not a word in your voculabrary

Italy fans tend to have a superiority complex if their team scores a goal, let alone wins a match.... something about thinking they invented the game... though I'm not sure how they got that idea...

LOL I'm being lectured about not knowing enough by someone who can't even call the game by it's real name "Football" it's only the Yanks who call it soccer.

I've followed football since I was 4 years old over 26 years and in that time I've seen Italy go out of too many competitions to mention always blaming something other than their own lacklustre performances, I'm a football fan I like to see good games of football I don't like it when players and coaches whine and moan about conspiracies and how everybody is always against them.

And again I still think somebody having an opinion about a 21 year old who has scored a winning goal has more class than somebody who spits in another human beings face.

Go crawl back under your rock until the next championship is there for you to lose without any graciousness.

Haha, firstly the game is called football, great game analysis. Yeah those Italians, looked real defensive the past two games, but you and you're great knowledge of football surely picked that up, right. Please.

Um, well as Italy went out for not scoring enough then that looks pretty conclusive to me. However, I'm sure your awesome intellect and football analysis will convince you otherwise

Anything the ref doesn't see? Use your imagination..a hidden elbow, a clever shove, verbal abuse..many things can make a player very pissed.

1. No, think England v Scotland/France. If you speak to any Swedes/Danes they will confirm how much they both wanted to beat each other

2. It's impossible to arrange a game to be 2-2 in advance, there's all many of factors that will intervene, what if the ref hadn't given the penalty? (which could have happened) or was he in on it as well?

3. It's coincidence, these things happen in football, like Arsenal scoring in the last minute to beat Liverpool 2-0 at Anfield and win the English League in 98/99
