LOL I was just chatting with people about how he's going to pardon all the Jan 6th people and then one buddy said:

"A felon pardoning people"

LMAO wow I never even thought about that. We are doomed.

Yeah does anyone really think their plan is to hire 10,000 additional immigration judges and then process all these people? Like... el oh fucking el.

Interestingly enough the initial plan of the Nazis was not to kill the Jews, it was to deport them. It was only once deportation became infeasible that they decided they had no choice but to kill them all.

There's a non-zero, maybe even high probability, that Trump gives a half hearted effort to this like he does many things. I've heard them say anything to deporting 15M people to "only" 1M a year. So which is it?

Trump failed to execute his #1 promise from first term. Build a wall and Mexico will pay for it.

What makes you idiots think he will deport 15M people?

What he will do is give another tax cut for the rich.

You're going to get video and photos out of them and the public will not like it one bit.

I dunno, after the last 8 years, I don't think anyone is in a position to say what the public will or won't like.

My guess is 51-53% will be totally ok with these images even if it includes their fellow citizens.

The public didn't like kids in cages the first time. The most likely answer is they won't like far more kids in far more cages much either.

I think there is a strong possibility that Trump tries this, realizes what a calamity it is, and then decides the best way out is to lie and declare the problem solved.

That seems like the least bad outcome to me.

I was going to raise an objection to your comment based on the notion of why they would vote for the guy who has done and wants to do those things, but the American electorate gave a pretty good impression of being a bunch of ignorant crybabies so why can't they simultaneously vote for and complain about it!

- edit - having said that, were those who complained about it Trump supporters in the first place... highly unlikely.

It was also not uncommon this election cycle for Trump's voters to assume Trump was lying about the things he said that they didn't like. Oddly enough him being a giant liar was not an issue.

In his first term, he spent hours a day watching Faux News. Nobody has ever accused DJT of being hard-working. Having said that, the "achievements" of his next term will depend on Susan Wiles and the rest of the clown show, not on how much golfing Trump will be doing.

Holy shit! Trump picked Matt gaetz as his AG! The predator is going to be the AG of the US, wow!
And Tulsi Gabbard for DNI. It's bizarre that some liberals have been saying "what could go wrong?"

Honestly with this cadre of total incompetents there is a non zero chance that the government basically just collapses and the states are left to fend for themselves.

If I were an authoritarian hell bent on revenge, I would nominate someone so beyond the pale even for their own party just to test who will be loyal yes men.

If these are the top level morons what do other appointed layers end up looking like?
