Listen, at best we have a few True Neutral oligarchs who have no intention of ever using their laughably obscene wealth to improve the lives of everyone else, and will instead talk about how they should be taxed more. I mean, good on them for not being chaotic evil or whatever.

But the rest of the oligarchs have been made mentally ill from the immense amount of wealth they have. If you don't think they are surrounded by leaches that tell them every thing they think or say is profound and important and 100% correct, you're probably a Republican voter.

These mentally ill oligarchs just want to continue hoarding as much wealth as possible to retain as much leverage over everyone else who exists. Most of these oligarchs are obeying in advance because they know god damn well that they can go from oligarch to aristocrat if they obey hard enough, as they'll be able to operate with tariff exclusions, and if you look at Russia, they'll get to be the Deep State after they are successful in throwing out hardworking AVERAGE CITIZEN bureaucrats who actually do the operating of the government within the structure of functional laws.

Trump, Musk, Thiel, Zuckerberg, Bezos, etc, just want to turn the US into Russia, and you're a fucking objective moron if you can't hear what they have been screaming out of their bullhorn. They aren't even trying to hide it.

Fortunately for our oligarch owners, there are enough dipshit low-IQ Republican cult members and Incels who believe that if they vote for God-Emperor Musk and his friend Trump, they will be supplied with docile obedient women and white power.

Like I've been saying for fucking years to "liberals" and "centrists", the Second Amendment isn't just a right, its a Responsibility. Republican voters and any eligible voter who chose not to vote for the objectively non-fascist Harris this past election are 100% responsible for what is coming, but it's the responsibility of actual decent citizens and human beings to resist the long-term plans of our oligarch owners.

The next four years will perhaps be the stupidest years in American history.

https://bsky.app/profile/atrupar.com/post/3lf64i3h5w223

Really?! ... Not Gulf of Trump? Anyway, fuck this guy! He’ll rename it by sharpie right after he "invades" Panama and Greenland.

Threatening the sovereignty of US neighbors and allies. Plus a bunch of offensive blatantly disrespect bloviating about "economic force" the Panama Canal, Greenland and Canada. I can’t believe I have to listen/pay attention to his rambling incoherent speeches for the next four years!

Of course, it's all posturing for trade negotiations, I'm not sure if that’s better or worse. The trademark negotiating style that Trump has employed for both in business and the presidency. He uses the threat of tariffs to get countries to do things that he thinks are in America's national security and economic interests. He is making a power move driven by the desire to establish his leverage, so much that the other side will be under pressure to make concessions. To force Canada into concessions when CUSMA is renegotiated. If they don't come around and do what he wants them to do, then he will slap those tariffs on them. He thinks Canada with what it's going through now with Trudeau is weak.

He’s not going to do a fucking thing, other than rattle the saber, try to extract some sort of better “deal” from the other party, and then present himself as an amazing negotiator. He’s trolling because he gets off on the reaction and "owning the libs"

Even if we make it through the next four years with our Democracy intact, one of the most lasting affects of the Trump administration will be an understanding by the rest of the world that any pact, treaty or agreement that they make with the United States, will be valid for at most 4 years, and could be rendered void with the start of the next administration.

Nobody's forcing Mark to pal around with staunch conservatives. It's entirely willful and calculated.

I know... Here is the calculus Zuck and Bozo is doing: Would I rather exist in a fascist state or not exist at all. So whats the difference between a spineless bitch and a maga clown when it comes to the average Joe? Nothing? Maybe one could be persuaded to operate in the dark for the resistance, I dont know. But spineless bitch is probably preferable over devout zealot.

Trump thinks America is a "horrible place" ... If you think it's horrible now, just wait till Jan 20 and beyond.

"There are places where they're still counting votes."

Are they eating cats and dogs for lunch?

He wants ballots counted by 10pm on election day, but wants to hand count all ballots. How does that work exactly? Severely limit who's allowed to vote ... then it only takes a little while! What an asswipe. When you reduce the number of polling places, shorten the number of days for early voting, want to do away with absentee ballots, have ballots hand counted, in several times zones for the USA and territories, there's no way you can know the total vote count by 10:00 pm on Election Day.

What's needed is the actual verbatim transcripts of the entire speech. Because then it is obvious Trump is just babbling incoherently. Trump hasn't been in front of cameras making speeches in a while. Only posting his insane shit online. Watch and he will make less and less public speaking engagements to try to hide his dementia. They had him really doped up for this one with his pinpoint pupils and bottom jaw going all screwy like a snake swallowing its prey and he still couldn't stick to the script. That presser was like being trapped in a comedy traffic school with one of the most stupid, boorish two-bit comedians. I’ll never understand how anyone can look at this guy and want him to lead this (or any) country.

What the fuck is going on with Trump and Denmark?
He's actually talking about invading a member of NATO.

Why would they need to hide anything? Unhiding it got him reelected. He's been babbling like a loon since 2015, why stop now?

They'll just use their first term playbook. Against criticism and tough questions, Trump will yell "fake news" and biased MSM.

I don't think Trump himself knows. I suppose it's possible he's taking orders from daddy Vladdy to unravel NATO. Imagine article 5 having to be invoked against the U.S.A.

He's denied it, but no doubt Zuck is a MAGA warrior.

I have doubts that he's a true believer, but I also don't really care that much either way. As an oligarch, like all of them, he has objective self-interests that he's going to try to protect and promote, regardless of what subjective ideas are in his head. Musk clearly is a full-on MAGA, with racist beliefs, but I don't see it matters much whether the motivation is ideological or rational-self-interest.

Sure there's a spectrum, and Mark has done well to conceal it. I'm saying he's not as "innocent" as Bozos or Tim Apple donating to the inauguration slush fund because they're all just kissing the ring.

Zuck is somewhere in between Cook and Elon. You don't appoint Dana White to your BoD if you don't like DJT. I'm not saying I'm privy to Zuck's inner beliefs; I'm saying I'm convinced he likes Trump. And it's reflected in the people he's pulling into Meta.

Damn, you've elected a lunatic.

Reminds me of the scene in Woody Allen's Bananas where El Commedante takes power and gives that speech ordering that everyone should wear their underpants outside their pants, and that the national language is henceforth Swedish, and that 'everybody under 16 years old... is now 16 years old'.

This was Trump’s latest line of thinking on Jack Smith, the special counsel who brought criminal charges against him: “They brought this moron out of the Hague. He’s a mean guy. He’s a mean, nasty guy. His picture was perfect ’cos you look at his picture, you say that’s a bad guy. With his robe, his purple robe, and he executes people. He shouldn’t be allowed to execute people because he’ll execute everybody. He’s a nutjob.”

The president-elect weighed in on dishwashers, gas heaters, washing machines, water faucets and other appliances: “It’s called rain. It comes down from heaven. And they want to do no water comes out of the shower. It goes drip, drip, drip, so what happens you’re in the shower 10 times as long.”

Some of it was bleakly familiar to seasoned Trump watchers who have been forced to develop gallows humour for their own sanity. “The windmills are driving the whales crazy, obviously,” he remarked.

Honestly are we surprised at this point?

We've gone from more people wanting to be smart and watch shows like Jeopardy to more people wanting to be stupid for LOLs like the Jerry Springer Show.

I don't even know how we fix things at this point.. maybe do what Australia did.. ban social media/ cell phones/ tablets for all people under 16 so they can critically think and learn skills before social media can possess them.

Saw a clip on ABC nightly news tonight of Trump's news conference, evidently today. He's never looked uglier, and that's saying something. He was talking about using military force to acquire the Panama Canal, Greenland and Canada. Probably the ugliest American president ever, and he's not president right now. He should never have been president. Somebody has to stop this monster.

Here's an incredible story right now at New York Times about the burgeoning corruption and looting being done and planned by the Trump family. 14 day access through paywall:

Even the Fing Canadians are probably googling "how to do crash nuclear weapons program" right now.
Everybody should be. Nobody is saying invade North Korea.
A fascist US government is no friend of those who value life. Having a suitable deterrence is the only thing that matters now. For all peoples of the earth who wish to live. The WW2 post war era of relative peace and stability is over.

Biden has had 4 years to "save" America.
He still has 12 days.

Spoilers, he isn't going to lift a finger. Not in his nature to meet this challenge and provide MAGA a proper redress. Democrat politicians all still think they can ride out the storm and win the next election. There are no current Democrat leaders who are prepared or able to steel themselves for what comes next. So they willingly let MAGA take the reigns of power. America has fucked around. Now MAGA will let us find out.

How does that fix things when the problem is the adults over 35 who have zero critical thinking skills, and/or appear to have their heads squarely up their asses?
