Haaaaaaaaaaaahahahahahaha ... my poor abs gonna hurt tomorrow, thats so god damned funny

"The post, shared by a pro-Musk account, criticized divisions within the political right over H-1B visas, saying,

“The tech right is like, ‘We need H-1B visa people to do the jobs,’
and the right right is like, ‘No, you need to hire Americans.’
The tech right is like, ‘But you guys are r*****,’
and the right right is like, ‘Well, you don’t train us,’
and the tech right is like, ‘You can’t outtrain being retarded.’”"

This is Musk blasting the entire MAGA base as retarded... Holy crap, wonder how long it will take Laura Loomer to pick this up and butt fuck Elmo with it.

ps. MORE KETAMINE !!!!!!

Even more amusing considering Phony Stark's condition.

Strong "Clayton Bigsby" vibes.

I think there was a bunch of small catalysts in play at the time, booming economies on the backhand of the war and open safe global trade routes to pay the bill - for one. And that's why I picked California .. 1. The people want it and 2. They got the economics for it(I think) ... And once the ball get rolling...
I live in California. The state govt wants to do single payer, but every budget projection I've seen would literally bankrupt us. At one level, that's not unusual because everything in the Golden State costs a shit ton more. We're currently building the bullet train to nowhere, with a fraction of the funding required for the complete system.

Considering most developed economies do have universal health care, it should be feasible in a rich U.S. state. But CA isn't close to figuring out how.

On a different level, it's a very big problem to do single payer for 40M residents in one fell swoop. It'd actually be easier if you picked a low pop. state, one with a solid economy* and preferably relatively good health (if that exists in the States lol).

* One of the features of CA budgeting is boom-and-bust cycles based on wildly fluctuating capital gains tax revenue.

Trump sure does know how to entice people to negotiate:

The Trumpeter Pawn accused Panama of financial wrongdoing. Of course, he knows all about financial skullduggery in Panama.

A person, a woman, a man, concepts of a plan, a camera, a canal, a TV… A Panama.

Vivek Ramaswamy says it’s "Saved By the Bell’s" fault that nobody wants to hang out with him.

Something something “Soros-backed” DEI hire…. Looks like diversity is what Elon and Ramswampy are all in on. India's higher education is highly subsidized by the government. An engineering degree costs the average student about $2500.00 - all in. Lol, two immigrants that MAGAs put on a pedestal are now calling them idiots and lazy. This is working out great. MAGAs are shocked to find out oligarchs don't have their best interests in mind.

Notice that they're devoid of any positive message to help American workers. They just spout insults at American workers. The elitists ARE the Republican party. Always have been. The problem is that Democrats are so inept at messaging they won't make the most of this gift that's been handed to them.

Actually ... Vivek is running interference for Musk. Vivek doesn’t have a need for HB1 discount engineers. Musk does.

Trump is 100% transactional. Trump already made this deal with Musk for the $250 million in campaign donations. Vivek is getting ahead of it and catching strays before the MAGAs realize Trump sold you another lie. Trump and his billionaire possee have only one thing in common with Rural red state MAGAs ... They love playing the victim. Other than that, no connection whatsoever.

MAGAs before: "I DON'T GO TO COLLEGE, SO I AIN'T GONNA PAY FOR NO ONE'S COLLEGE!"

MAGAs now: "I NEED TO GO TO COLLEGE?! THE GOV'T NEEDS TO HELP ME PAY FOR COLLEGE!"

No one could have possibly expected the free speech absolutist to go back on his word! /S

Has VP Trump weighed in yet? President Musk hates free speech.

Elon, the owner of Twitter, is now actually part of the incoming government and is censoring people on Twitter who say things he doesn't like. I'm sure Matt Taibbi is going to get right on that, huh? lol!

We’ve been talking about it for years how people need to feel the pain from the consequences of their voting. Welp, looks like we are finally going to get that and we’ll see if people learn a lesson or they end up doubling down.

Right leaning media already trying to frame Trump as causing every good thing. They will make up anything up to promote that scumbag.

Came across this one. I met an oil trader back in Nov and he told me oil prices will fall early 2025. The US is already the #1 oil producing country in the world. Right wing media will lie to everyone that Trump is responsible.

Hasn't this been happening since Regan? Why would they learn/care now?

Pretty much almost every county in the country had a net shift towards the GOP in 2024. So FAFO means nothing. People just don't want what Democrats are selling, for whatever reason.

Maybe because Dems aren't really selling anything since Reagan other than not being Republicans.. there's no consistency between them and nothing gets done because of dems like Lieberman or Manchin.

Republicans will atleast stick together for the big asshole stuff like stealing scotus.

Saw the headline and didn't want to give them the click. Prices were supposed to start dropping in December because OPEC+ had agreed months ago to resume production to normal levels having given up trying keep oil at $100/barrel. The only question is will US producers slow production to keep it from falling to much.

As you said, nearly every county shifted. A majority of people know nothing about republicans and everything they know about democrats is through the narrative of republicans. That being said, democrats had better figure out how to take advantage. I have little faith though, the DNC seems to be very incompetent at any sort of national strategy for almost as long as I can remember.

Not to mention China's oil demand growth slowing drastically.
