The interior looks amazing, I love the gauges. Confused on the seats as I don't know which is the premium, or the base.

Love the wheels, but it looks like the car has too much wheel gap.

Wonder if you could add F/I to the engine, my sources say no.

It's been a long time since Toyota has made a car that looked good to me. I think for this to be successful though its going to need to keep its base MSRP low. While this will probably handle better you're still going to get people cross shopping this with the V6 mustang which starts at $22k. If Toyota can keep the base model's price underneath that it would really make this car extremely competitive as an affordable fun car.

I like the interior and side profile. I'm not crazy about the front or rear styling.

The car looks great, but this car definitely needs to be lowered by 3 cm just go rid of the wheel gap.

Rear wing is ugly.. and I wish the rear tail lights were all red. Digging everything else.. but definitely needs a drop.

The proportions aren't right. It almost looks like a FWD car. There should be more distance between the front wheel well and the door.

Edit: I take that back. The more I look at it the better it looks

They should have kept the Mini/Scion TC style windshield/roof transition with the blacked out A pillars

My God! Should I buy a new car next year and trade in my tC? I wonder if I call the local Toyota dealer now, would anybody at the dealership have any idea what I'm talking about if I ask to put down a deposit for a GT86.

Still a shitty little 4 cylinder making 200hp whining the entire way. Just screams new wave of modded jap crap.

It's not an I-4 - it's a boxer engine from Subaru. Prime target for a turbo.

I wonder what the major differences will be between this and the Subaru BRZ (same platform, engine, etc) once they come out in the market. I'm guessing it's only going to be interior design and specs/features in the model range. Driving dynamics should be the same.

That will really depend on how they tune the suspension. They can change it quite a bit with some suspension tweaks.

I see a bunch of young males 18-24 buying these cars because they can afford it. They drive the piss out of it and realize it's slower than a 350/370z, can't even hold a candle to the mustangs, and EVO/STi's

People are going to try and mod these but from what I've read its maxxed out in N/A form, and with F/I being pricey, and you have to really do it right to not blow up an engine...

I see these being traded into dealers for other more powerful cars, and/or riced out sold private party.

I would agree except the recession pretty much wiped out the target market*:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scion_tC#Sales
They redesigned it in 2010 so since the 2009 sales are so low we know it's not because people hated the redesign.

*This is an example of how the unemployment figures are cooked. They only count people aged 25+. Convenient to not give the youth a voice.
