I had to skip the Stars in the Reasonably Priced Car, they were just too annoying. Other than that it's normal TG, and I can't wait for the race in Japan :p

Agreed, the stars bit was the low point of the show but I thought the other content was great. Jeremy's Fiat taking on the Stig in the BMW was my favorite part of the show.

I was a little disappointed with the new addition to the show. I saw Sabine Schmitz in the clips from the upcoming season at the first of the show and thought she was going to be the one. :(

the stunt thing was lame, felt like an afterthought add on.
It felt short cuz I skipped a lot of parts actually. But the police thing was hilarious, it more than made up for it.

Great episode, it seems like they are back in their stride after a slightly "off" season last time around.

Far from my favorite...but Jeremy taking on the Stig in the Police chase nearly made me fall out of my chair. Other than that...nothing all that great. Looking forward to future episodes.

Overall the Police competition was pretty shoddy...and that is why they just made it a single part at the beginning of the show instead of a two part with a bit at the beginning and a bit at the end...it just wasn't that great.

And yes...all their competitions are contrived....it's entertainment...and I love it.

It was good but it wasn't falling out of the chair humorous. That guest with the nasal voice was annoying as heck too. I however did like the super cars test even though running them with 2 gallons of gas didn't really mean anything.

Don't forget to watch the Winter Olympics Special as well! It is absolutely hilarious (even if it is a little dated): biathlon, Jaguar vs Speed skater, Jaguar vs Land Rover on a lake; car vs bobsled; and an unbelievable finale!

yeah i say this buy-a-car-and-compete was one of the weakest. i loved the cars for under 100 pounds, porsche for under 1500 pounds, the first amphibious cars, and the america road trip.

You mean the Audi vs. Skiers race?

The difference is that just about any driver can drive an RS6 from one town to the next but only a handful of people in the world can do that kind of skiing.

no, the top gear stuntman where they take a beat up car and drive it up the ramp, have it roll 360 degrees in mid air and crash land on the other side.

Another great episode. I think I fell in love with the EvoX and, wow, that V10 Audi wagon was seriously badass! I'd still go with the 360hp Evo version rather than the 300.

Still no Sabine. :( What I wouldn't give to take a trip over to the Nordschliefe in Germany and have her drive me around the ring......assuming she's still doing that.

What are these pictures Jeremy keeps finding on the internet???

 I assume it's some kind of porn since they won't show it.

I think they should give the pathetic comedy a rest.
The car reviews were however awesome. I wish Stig would've tested the 360hp EvoX.

Heresy.

I have to say that so far this season...I've been a little disappointed. I have a feeling it will get better as the season rolls on though.

I loved the episode and laughed out loud through most of it. That being said, I have a bit of concern that the police car challenge was in some ways the most blatantly silly/fake they've ever done. I'm sure most or all of their challenges may be manipulated and/or edited to look more plausible, but this was the first time a challenge seemingly didn't even purport to be real. I hope this is not a sign of things to come.

Are you kidding me? You must be new to the show...

No, I've seen every episode since they re-launched the show several years ago. I am talking specifically about the buy-a-car-and-compete-with-it events. This is the first one I've seen where they didn't even seem to be pretending to make it a real contest.

I thought it was strangely cut ( weird considering the huge amount of camera/editing work they put into the show ). I thought I saw Hammond's Suzuki have the spike strip rolled up, deployed, and rolled up again.

I saw that too. lol @ bad editing.

Funny how the Top Gear episode has made me rethink my plans of getting an A4 in favor of an EVO X MR. Both have 4 doors..

Boy, I think tonight's TG might be the weakest episode I've ever seen. As with the police car challenge a couple of weeks ago, they edited the Alfa challenge in such a way that it seemed really obviously fake, and also not that funny. Very disappointing.

+1. A very uneventful episode. Maybe next weeks show will be twice as good as the previous two.
