Canadian man got bronze in 110 m hurdles

If you're talking about this lady, she's muscular but hardly masculine looking and sounds very much like a lady in interviews.

Check the video on the right side of the page.

Just shows you don't have to be long, lean and black to run fast. Her body type looks typical South-American Indian to me.

From the Olympic Annoyances Thread:

Speaking of filler, the Men's 100m was hilarious. It was 15 seconds of setup, < 10 seconds of race, and then 29.5 minutes of "Man that guy was fast!" "Seriously, he was really fast" "Did you think you'd go that fast?"

If the Japanese pitcher can get out of this they deserve to win.

0 Outs, runners on first and third and she makes it out.. very nice.

WTF: for the tie breaker they place a runner on secondto start the inning? Never seen this.

Well, the U.S. are definitely beatable with good pitching (Ueno is awesome). They barely got by this one.
Any team is beatable with good pitching. I don't know why the U.S. team is any different. 😕

Seeing Lolo Jones crying by herself was very sad. 🙁

It's a lonely walk home for the loser. 🙁

She was soooooo close to winning gold.

Just saying.. this is the closest they've been to being beat in what.. the last four olympics?

I thought Horton on the high bar had a more difficult routine than the winner seeing as how he did three tough releases. They both had a little step on the landing too. Oh well, I'm sick of gymnastics anyway, wth is this champions gala they're supposed to have tomorrow?

The table tennis was pretty entertaining and I can't wait to see the Men's 200m tomorrow.

I only watched a grand total of about 10 min of NBC's coverage today which is of course from yesterday. Could they have zoomed in on Shawn Johnson's face more during the medal ceremony? I mean, I could only see the openings of her pores, they should have gotten closer so I could see more detail.

Canada had us 1-0 late until the game had to be resumed.
