To my knowledge, its been set at $28k base retail for its release. Depending on its popularity, you might be able to knock it down a grand with the dealer.
270 hp of AWD, 6-speed goodness... its worth the splurge, IMHO.

Yet you thought of the 350Z? The RX-8 is much more practical, has a back seat and four doors.

heh.. just becuase i'm a nissan fanboi - plus i was surprised to see invoice on the base 350 is only $24k making it potentially very affordable if i can find one.
Hows the reliabililty of the renesis rotary engine? If the maintenance costs wont be too high it could increase its favorabiltiy. (as for the back seats in the rx-8 -- HAHAH, you've seen them, right? you'd need to amputate your legs to fit in)

mustang,.. well it'd better be a really nice ride for me to get over how much i dislike mustangs. (although, the new ones do appear to be a whole new animal)
Maxima... a little bigger than what I would like.. i'll see how it handles.. If it's at least as good as the Altima that would give it some bonus points.

No matter what i'll be getting a Base model car, NO options. I really don't plan on the out the door payment (inc. Taxes) being more than 27k. I'd like to keep it under 25k.
It's pretty obvious you can't handle a car with a lot of power, so I4 accord for you. I guess closest thing to that on the list is TSX
becuase having too much power has anythign to do with hitting something in the road causing me to loose traction when i'm not even going 5 over the speed limit...
I never even said i wanted something with a ton of power.. i just want something i am going to enjoy driving everyday.
