I'm loving ME so far, the only thing that annoys me are the battles where you are outnumbered, they get REALLY annoying, specially 5-7 hours into the story, i'd suggest you play in casual if you want to get more "enjoyment" out of the game. Also, be careful with that auto save function...it's not so "Auto".
 
movin' ~100gigs of anime over to my external to free up some game space so i can install ME1/2 lol

darksiders seems interesting. worth the $10?

Well I'm not too stressed; I'm a pretty casual gamer; aside from those issues it sounds like you are ok with the game? :hmm:

Darksiders is a good game. It is very Zeldaish in it's dungeons and the combat is like a simple God of War. If you have a PS3 or 360, there is a demo for it on there I believe.

I own it on the PS3 and have enjoyed it quite a bit.

I would rather stick to one or two than to be parading STEAM, Impulse, D2D, GamersGate, Amazon, GOG, EA Store, and the dozens other digital distribution methods I have forgotten.

I have STEAM and Impulse, and I currently have no intention of moving to another method of digital distribution.

Yep, i'm loving it so far, a lot like KOTOR and KOTORII:SL. I would say I'm about a little less than half way through the first one.

I'm not sure what you mean by outnumbered? I've never played a game where the ratio of players vs enemies is 1:1. I played though on normal with no problem.

No, it really can get UGLY, we are talking even 9+ vs 3 battles here.

Take for example when you go to find the matriarch's daughter, when you off load at the entrance to the ruins, you get the little cut scene, there, you gotta fight the "tank" and then 2 rocket warriors, 2 snipers and 2 of the really fast annoying geth. The tank is a one shot killer and the rocket warriors just noob tube through the entire fight. Results in normal, not pretty, nearly unplayable, in casual, run like hell and take come back slowly.

lol im right with ya KT.. hopefully getting out early though if im lucky.... still got that hour drive home though.... I love looking at the deal I think I have a problem 🙁

Anyone else notice how a lot of other digital distribution systems are trying to match steam sales and such?

Well at least we have the ray of sunshine that is the Steam Christmas Sale to get us through! 😀
