Just Borderlands Claptrap for me... nothing else really stands out.

I was really hoping for Operation arrowhead at $10

How's the single player in Borderlands?

The graphics are good to great depending on how you look at them, there are enough side quest to keep you busy for a long time, the voice-overs get old,,,,, For $9.99, I think its well worth it.

I bought borderlands and fallout 3 around the same time; I find myself playing borderlands more then I do FO3.

Co-op is a lot more fun then single player.

Borderlands is more then just a game, the developers have created a whole other world and its yours to explore.

I have a really stupid question; this DLC thing is kind of new to me, so I'm wondering how it actually works. Are these just additional side missions that are added on to the game (i.e. outside of the normal gameplay) or is stuff integrated into the original game?

Could be both, depends on the package.

On another note, damn....I'm really tempted to grab darksiders.

The Zombie, Claptrap and Knoxx DLC add new areas with different missions, so they add onto the original game but you by no means need them to get the experience. Knoxx and Claptrap rescale the game's difficulty also which is nice at high levels. Moxi adds a bank that you can store weapons in outside of your "pack" and some gladiatorial type things that are fun with friends.

Dude this sale is LITERALLY killing me. Got a bunch of games so far(3 indie packs, King arthur pack, FO:NV, ARMA 2, BLUR, Risen, Ghost recon pack) and cant play hardly any of them. Im at the mother in laws on my laptop(T6600 + 4570 FTL).

And the worst part is i have a second GTX 460 sitting ontop of my PC at home waiting to be installed.

Is Fallout New Vegas really that bad?

I sorta liked oblivion.. I didn't play often, but it was nice to have a good 'fallback' to spend a few hours of downtime

I tried to like fallout, but the bugs, save issues and glitches kept me away. I really value my gametime since I don't play that often and it really sucks to have to deal with lost time and frustration

I like the concept of new vegas..

I liked New Vegas quite a bit.

I played almost 30hrs of singleplayer Borderlands and still haven't gone multiplay yet. I know I still have tons to the game left too. I would like to try multi some day but I know I'll get raped since I'm still not that high of a level.

Keith, if you want to get any DLCs, it's probably worth it to just buy the Game of the Year version. There are four DLCs at $5 a pop, so to buy everything separately, it's $30, but the GotY is only $25.

As for the DLCs, all of them but Mad Moxxi's are pretty interesting. General Knoxx is the only one that actually adds levels to the game.

last year it was 66% off though 50 is still good

Borderlands GotY has only been out for a few months. You might be referring to the game itself going from 29.99 to 9.99 during another Steam sale.

The one thing is that the DLC isn't very cheap as it was only $2.99 each during one of the earlier sales.

EDIT:

As for Mad Moxxi, I still got it because I wanted the bank. I know that I usually stash away awesome legendary items for other characters, so I used the bank heavily. It also serves as a bit of a gold sink, as you'll end up with a lot of money and the bank slots aren't cheap :p.

the game and 3 of the dlc were all 66 percent off last year since the 4th did not come out by then.

seriously, are you just fucking stupid or just fucking retarded?

I've mentioned many games that I liked. I started to make a list and then I said fuck it because I don't need to prove myself to a bunch of douchebags.
