I have a backlog of at least 50 games that I haven't played. I'll buy them if they're on sale, reasoning that I'll get to them "some day." If not, at least I'm supporting Steam, because if we don't get behind this digital distribution thing, it may not make it.

:D

I am reminded of Grandpa Simpson watching Namath vs Unitas in Superbowl 3, or whichever one that was. :D

Is Oblivion IV GOTY worth grabbing for $18?

Not sure on the price. I would say no at any price, but a lot of people will say yes. I played Oblivion for a couple hours and just couldn't get into it. However I do like Fallout 3, which a lot of people say is just Oblivion with guns. Maybe I just don't like fantasy settings.

I sunk tons of hours into Oblivion hardly even touching the main quest. That said, it has been on sale for less.

What i'm thinking is that if i'm going to drop 80+ hours in a game, why not just play and MMO rather than an RPG...

I've had an MMO burnout since last year, haven't been able to sit still for more than 2 hours when i try now a days...

As a simulator is it really good as in something that could replace a model train set? I take it you can't build your own table sort of speak and build a train around a scene?

I haven't played the game yet, but from what I read this is the best train simulator game. You can build your own scenery, but the scenery editor is not easy to use. There are tons of DLC for this games, including highly detailed trains and real world scenery and stations. There are probably a lot of user created contents too, though I haven't really looked into it yet. Definitely this is a simulator, not a tycoon game.

Mass Effect 1 for $10, seriously. It was $5 last Christmas sale. I was going to buy it for $5 and the ME2 for $10. But I may just wait.

Thinking about Darksiders, but it's only $5 more for PS3 and I can lend that to my friends when I'm done.

Finally!!

Getting Darksiders and Blur for sure. Bought ME last christmas and have yet to even launch it. Guess I can wait for another sale on ME2 so I make sure I even like ME1. PLus i'm sure it will be on sale again.

Wings of Prey any good?

Patrician 4 sounds interesting but not sure I'd like it. If Dead Rising was about $10 cheaper I'd be on that too.

Anyone know if Blur can be played on a single core processor or will that be a waste? I'd like to buy Blur fro my friend too so we can play that together but he only has a single core cpu.
