Spiderman 4

That's it? Just 2 villains? They need at minimum 6 this time.

The Sinister Six?

I don't know. I just hope that they either go with Lizardman with Raimi directing or go with a different director if Carnage is included. It is clear that Raimi doesn't give a flip about Venom and by extension, Carnage. He prefers the older Spiderman villains.

Cant do Carnage. It would have to be R rated to do Carnage any justice. I think they should let the franchise die, cuz S3 plain sucked, even the video game is better than the movie and the game got horrendous ratings. There was no spidey-sense usage in the movie! While I know and love Raimi, he has to stop. Next time I see him and Bruce I will see what his plans are, if any. Bruce's bit was the best thing in the movie! :)

This is one of the lamest movies I've seen in the theatre in a very long time.

I tried to convince my girlfriend we should see 28 weeks later but she is not big on horror movies and she was like "well we saw the first 2 lets just see it" so we did.

We were laughing throughout the movie at how terrible and corny it was. Then the whole emo thing ... wtf?

I mean he parts his hair differently and he's all emo and crap? Gimmie a break. That whole part when he was on the streets dancin and in the jazz club ... WHAT TEH FSCK!! This is the first movie in a very VERY long time I have wanted to just get up and walk out of. But since I wasnt by myself and it was what my girl and I were doing tonight, we decided to stay and watch it.

It didn't get much better either.

Granted the movie did have some cool scenes, this is DEFINITELY a movie I will not recommend to anyone. I didn't think it would be lamer than part 2, but boy was I wrong.

It isn't the worst movie I've ever seen or anything, but man, for a movie that was supposed to be so good and made so much money, I can't believe how stupid it was.

So you wanted to see a different movie and your woman wouldn't let you, so you're getting your revenge on ragging on the movie you didn't want to see.

Can you point out where I said I didn't want to see the movie, cause it's slipping over my head.

Oh, and just to state it, I actually liked it a lot.

I think going into a movie expecting to pick out every possible flaw is BS. A lot of people forget how to enjoy a movie anymore.

I don't need a ****** critic to tell me whether or not to get up off my arse to see a movie.

God that movie was awful. There was WAY too much going on; black spidey, venom, sand man, goblin jr., MJ. The story kept bouncing around, the movie was was too long and was incredibly slow. Too bad, I really like Venom too, oh well.

I actually liked it quite a bit. More than Spiderman 2. Sure there were some corny lines, in fact I laughed at scenes that weren't meant to be funny. Nonetheless, I enjoyed it.

Our group was pretty disappointed in it. I won't say it was "bad", but it certainly didn't live up to my expectations. The villains just seemed so lackluster. I remember hearing back at the beginning of the development that Sam Raimi, who never liked or understood the Venom character, was coerced into using him by the management because all the fans were screaming for him. His complete lack of interest in the character showed through pretty clearly, in my opinion. A whole 10-15 minutes of screentime... boo.

At least it wasn't as bad as X-Men: The Last Stand. :p

I'm with Sam Raimi on this one. I stopped reading Marvel comics (and got into DC comics) before the Venom character and I just don't understand and get why it's such a popular character. And I don't get the black Spidey suit thingy either.

To me that era of comics was a low point. It was all marketing. Wow, Spiderman has a black suit! Doomsday kills Superman! Multiple covers for the same comic -- collect all 5 versions! Bad stories and all marketing.

Regarding Spiderman 3, I was disappointed. I loved Spiderman 1 and 2 but I felt Spiderman 3 had too many things crammed into it.

I didn't like how they revised the death of Ben to have the Sandman actually be the killer. It was unneccessary. While a pivotal event in Peter's life, I don't want to have it keep recurring and revised in future movies -- the first two did an excellent job with it and it just doesn't need to be brought up and revised again. Let's move on.

I didn't understand Mary Jane breaking up with Peter. Did Harry make her do it? But later on it seemed like she acted like she did it on her own. You would think that if Harry made her do it (I want you to do something if you want Peter to live), you would think she would explain this to Peter after everything was over.

I didn't like how the butler waited all this time before telling Harry the truth about the way his father died. What was that about?

I generally don't like storylines where the character becomes "bad" because of some external factor which causes them to be really mean and do hurtful things. Sometimes they do things that in real life that would cause permanent damage/changes in relationships. Smallville does it too much with the red krytonite storylines which has caused Clark to do things like physically fight his father and hurt his mother and Lana.

The things that I enjoyed in Spiderman 3 are seeing the character interaction in the beginning of the film. Seeing Peter Parker being a nice (but poor) guy and the niceness of other characters such as the landowner's daughter. I liked the friendship between Harry and Peter and I was happy to see Harry redeemed himself at the end.

Watched it last weekend and I enjoyed it. At first, I was annoyed with the nightclub scene but in the end, I felt it was necessary to convey the message. Can't wait for Spider-Man 4. :)

Saw it last night. Very disappointing. I was equally disappointed with Shrek the Third, which I saw on the weekend. Two hyped movies that I almost walked out on.
