I loved all 3.

I am no comic fan by any means so I may be biased but I thought the emo-kid scene was pretty funny :)

The movie was pretty disappointing, i thought. I didn't have high hopes for it really, but the more I think about it, it was kind of bad. A lot of laughable situations (though I can cut it some slack here since it's a superhero movie). I think they've gone downhill from Spiderman 1. First was the best, third was the worst. None of these movies can touch Batman Begins.

2. In the comics, did Goobling Jr. team up with Spiderman as in the movie and died? And did the Sandman survive in the comics?

No and Yes. The movie didn't really follow the plot of the comics so I wouldn't worry about it. The motivations behind Venom was probably the closest but were seriously under-developed in the movie.

3. Is it just me or what because I thought the landlord daughter in this movie is not the same as the 2nd movie. The one in the 2nd movie was hot, this one is too young and skinny and not as pretty.

Same girl - IMDB.

Not only funny, but the darker Peter Parker was hot.

I forgot one other thing I really liked, the sandman "birth" scene...where he first reforms himself from the sand. It really did a good job of conveying it. First it was automatic and he was confused, then he has to concentrate to complete the process.

I liked the movie very much, but how in the HELL is the estimated budget $258 million? Are you kidding me?? The stars were "normal," and while there was a lot of CG, there certainly wasn't any more than like a Pixar movie (obviously), or Dead Man's Chest, which had an estimated budget of $150 million.

This is one of the lamest movies I've seen in the theatre in a very long time.

I tried to convince my girlfriend we should see 28 weeks later but she is not big on horror movies and she was like "well we saw the first 2 lets just see it" so we did.

We were laughing throughout the movie at how terrible and corny it was. Then the whole emo thing ... wtf?

I mean he parts his hair differently and he's all emo and crap? Gimmie a break. That whole part when he was on the streets dancin and in the jazz club ... WHAT TEH FSCK!! This is the first movie in a very VERY long time I have wanted to just get up and walk out of. But since I wasnt by myself and it was what my girl and I were doing tonight, we decided to stay and watch it.

It didn't get much better either.

Granted the movie did have some cool scenes, this is DEFINITELY a movie I will not recommend to anyone. I didn't think it would be lamer than part 2, but boy was I wrong.

It isn't the worst movie I've ever seen or anything, but man, for a movie that was supposed to be so good and made so much money, I can't believe how stupid it was.

Yeah I was like  during the whole mid-movie musical at the jazz club. Since when can Parker play the piano? The whole dance thing was a little, I dunno, not far-fetched but like out-of-character for the movie. Obviously the whole movie is far-fetched, but it kind of took me out of the I'm-watching-Spiderman mode.

I did like that the movie had a lot of action. I'll definitely be getting it on DVD :)

I was kinda disappointed at the Sandman's ending. At first I thought he was letting himself die by turning into sand, then you see the sand storm flying through the city and you're like...okay, is he going to go get a job to help his daughter, what's the resolution??

-Sandman. Storyline is completely unnecessary and boring as hell. In the end it was never really wrapped up. The daughter is still sick, he is still alive. Peter Parker forgives him? Who the fvck cares, Sandman still needs money
-Goblin 2. Relatively well done. Except: who the hell was that butler. That was a weirdass version of Alfred. And seriously, why wait until now to tell Harry his dad killed himself when he's been going nuts for all this time
-The emo thing, WOW. What a ****** joke. At least make him more bad ass rather than making me thinking he's one LInkin park song away from eating a razor blade brownie. I felt like 30 minutes of the movie was completely unnecessary, what the hell is up w/ the dancing on the street? IT wasn't bad ass, itw asn't impressive, it wasn't even really funny.
-Comedic relief, very very poorly timed. GO from a funny moment to a fvcked up moment in an instant.
-The American Flag moment. w..t..f.. need i say more?
-Way too much cheesy writing and ridiculous one-liners

PROS
-AMAZING CGI effects
-Venom, the short period that he existed, was good. Topher Grace did a wonderful job with it, really made him insane. ALthough i feel like since he's relatively scrawny and plays a better crazy guy than a big angry guy, he would have been a better cast as Carnage.
-Restaurant scene. Hilarious. Although i feel like it's better off in a romantic comedy.

-Sandman was sort of necessary to have that branch where he was the real guy who killed his Uncle. Therefore making him mad, sad and vengeful.
-Yeah, the butler's delay in telling Harry was retarded. I didn't think Harry should've teamed up with Spidey.
-Peter Parker is NOT badass. He is a NERD and that symbiote in the movie was supposed to amplify his personality and especially anger, therefore you get the GEEKY "I wish I were a badass" Peter Parker + Emo.
-Spider-man is known for his one liners....................

AND SERIOUSLY, THAT BUTLER IS RETARDED, WHY WAIT SO LONG?

THIS SINGLE HANDEDLY KILLED THE MOVIE. I MEAN, WTF EMO SPIDERMAN PLAYING THE PIANO? ARE YOU ****** KIDDING ME?
-Comedic relief, very very poorly timed. GO from a funny moment to a fvcked up moment in an instant. I WAS LAUGHING THROUGHOUT THE ENTIRE MOVIE. AND BY LAUGHING I MEAN LAUGHING AT THE ABSURDITY OF IT.
-The American Flag moment. w..t..f.. need i say more? I HAD MORE OF THE  LOOK ON MY FACE
-Way too much cheesy writing and ridiculous one-liners THANK GOD I DON'T REMEMBER ANY, I WAS TOO BUSY LAUGHING AT THE MOVIE

PROS
-AMAZING CGI effects UNFORTUNATELY THIS IS WHERE THE ENTIRE BUDGET WENT
-Venom, the short period that he existed, was good. Topher Grace did a wonderful job with it, really made him insane. ALthough i feel like since he's relatively scrawny and plays a better crazy guy than a big angry guy, he would have been a better cast as Carnage. HIS CHARACTER SAVED THE MOVIE. I NEARLY BROKE INTO TEARS WHEN SPIDEY KILLED HIM. I WONDER WHAT KIND OF CRACKPOT EXCUSE THE WRITERS ARE GOING TO COME UP WITH TO GET HIM BACK FOR SPIDEY 4.
-Restaurant scene. Hilarious. Although i feel like it's better off in a romantic comedy. BEST SCENE EVAR

So you wanted to see a different movie and your woman wouldn't let you, so you're getting your revenge on ragging on the movie you didn't want to see.

LOL, thanks for your comments but I need to know the whole dialog. I asked my co worker and he pretty much said the same thing..."something something...". Guess I may need to watch that movie again.

I saw S3 over the weekend, and actually enjoyed it quite a bit. I guess I don't understand some of the criticisms of it - it seems to me that if you like the franchise, it's a strong outing. Some of the things people are complaining about as silly were clearly intended as comedy (esp. his emo hair and cheesy alpha-male persona while wearing the Venom suit).

Man in Times Square: 'Nuff said!

I think they left out the 'true believer' bit.
