I'm excited, it's been forever since the last new episode.

HBO/Sopranos website

This season is about "The 2 Tony's"
The 13 episodes of the new season will focus on mob boss Tony Soprano's separation from his wife Carmela, as well as the new challenges he faces at home and work, from within his immediate family, other mob families, and law enforcement.

New this season is Steve Buscemi as a regular.

Guest stars lined up are: Polly Bergen, Tim Daly, Patty D'Arbanville, Robert Loggia, Joe Santos, David Strathairn, Frankie Valli, & Frank Vincent .

Anyone else as psyched as me?

*Sigh* I've seen every episode up to this point, but HBO is digital-cable only now so I don't get it. Oh well, I guess I'll have to wait for the DVDs. :(

Good episode! I'm surprised this thread is so dead. That waiter should have learned the lesson of never confronting a customer about a tip ;)

Never watched a single episode.

Then what the hell are you guys doing in the thread? IMO the Sopranos is one of the most impressive works of popular fiction in the last 20 years, and I can't see being so proud of missing it - it's not like we are talking about My Big Fat Obnoxious Fiancee.

I am not proud, just don't have HBO, but I am going to rent the DVDs

Yeah, that's good film-making. I kind of liked the quick focus on the grenade in the closet. That was definite foreshadowing, that baby is going to get used on somebody this season.

not a bad episode

I'd rather of had Paulie hit in the head with rock instead of the waiter.

From the preview, it looks Steve Buscemi is gonna stir up some sh1t in the next one.

Hehe, the site of Paulie bending down and grabbing the monie while they ran was great, but that line was special. And I also loved when Tony screamed that after the door was closed. But I roared when AJ knocked down part of his drums when the bear came back into the yard, something my son would do. Great episode and it looks like the season is going to be fantastic.

Robert Logia"The thing that has changed the most since I went in( Prison) is that all the women are shaving their bush. I went to the "Bing" the other night and it looked like a Girl Scout Convention" or something along those lines:)

it seemed to me that the previews for the next episode were actually previews of the upcoming season. I dont think that much will happen in just one show. I could be wrong.

This is the first time I actually saw the show - one nice thing about getting my own place. All right! Darn, now I have to go find the DVD's of all the other seasons.
I'm hooked.

That bear was a lot smaller than the one I saw in my NJ back yard a few years ago.

Pretty good episode. It looks like this season is more focused on the mob, which is good. The scenes with the shrink put me to sleep. Next week looks good.
