What about Armored core 6 or whatever?
That Phantom Blade 0 game looked badass. I noticed it didn't have a date though so def not coming out this year. I'm curious how it controls though in combat.
Yeah that's what I mean about how it controls in combat. It was very hard to tell from the video.Looks very cool, but something about that trailer looked very sus. Not sure how much of that was actual gameplay and how much was scripted. Also, I really wish Asian studios would hire some decent English voice actors. Yikes.. I switched to Chinese voices for Wo Long (to match the setting) because the English acting was sooo bad.
What do people think of that handheld streaming thing? Do we think it will be a flop?
If it is $199 maybe it could work. Not sure what benefit you would get over just using remote play on an ipad? What do people think of that handheld streaming thing? Do we think it will be a flop?
I am waiting for my bonus to hit so I can get the Asus Ally.
I agree... Cloud gaming isn't ready yet because of the latency penalty. There's a lot of games I play that require good timing of button presses where I think it would suck or be annoying to play if I had 300ms minimum ping. I'm not even talking about twitch shooters. I think even the experience of playing a game like Horizon Zero Dawn or Forbidden West would suffer if you had 300ms ping. Heck, I'm currently playing The Legend of Dragoon, a PS1 game, on my PS5 and I hate to imagine what it would be like trying to time my attacks if I had more latency.I think it's a huge waste of R&D money/time and resources. It's basically solving a problem that doesn't exist.
Latency is an issue for almost any game, generation doesn't matter. Think of trying to play the OG Contra with 300ping. Short of turn based games I can't see it working.I agree... I'm not sure how you are getting that it's canned from that. They are just announcing that it's delayed and needs more time.
Hah, looks like ND is having a lot of trouble with the TLOU GAAS game. Doesn't sound like it's canned... but it's canned. As a result they are shifting their efforts to what I am guessing is TLOU 3 or perhaps 2 DLC.
Agreed. If anything, it confirms the opposite. It's not canned.I'm not sure how you are getting that it's canned from that. They are just announcing that it's delayed and needs more time.

Good that they're scaling it down. I hate all this live service crap and hopefully the dev talent will be spent on worthwhile single player games.Internet rumor is that Sony had Bungie come to evaluate Factions. They didn't think it would work, so they went back to make changes. Sounds like they are trying to make it like Destiny? Jason Schreir has some story on it, but behind a paywall.
