I'm a double kniFer.
I hate when people use the same knife for both...the jelly in the jar looks gross with other food particles mixed in.

i am the Quintiseential dork
i hate seeing knife marks in my peanut butter jar
those zigzags drive me crazy

i use a spoon for the peanut butter but my methodology is kind of out there (i swoop the inside of the jar in a uniform motion with the outside portion of the spoon...each swoop nicely flattens out the contents of the jar but also acquires peanutbutter in the process...when i'm satisfied i pull out the spoon and spread it on one lightly toasted piece of bread)
...this method is good if you want to see if your roommates steal your PB because what kind of freak uses a spoon?

then i have another spoon handy to scoop out jelly with the curved part of course...plop the jelly on another lightly toasted piece of bread and start spreading with the outside of the spoon....then i drag the inside of the spoon alongside the corner of the bread to get every speck of jelly goodness

then i unite the two halves...typically the peanutbutter half on top of the jelly half...then the final squish

...which means if I was your roommate, you'd never know if I stole your PB 'cause it'd be as smooth as you left it. muahahahahhaa!!:D
