I am mostly because I want to see Brindy and Wesley get the cup...and my buddy is a huge fan...started as a Whalers fan...

But I'm also rooting for the Oil because I love their style of play, Torres is awesome, and Sammy finally gets the chance he never had in Boston...

Oilers gave the finals away. They had control in game 1, then let it all slip away after an injury and a stupid play by a goalie. Had they won that game, they would have taken it all. Other big story was their inability to score any powerplay goals when it mattered.

Damnit.

Hey... they went from 8th to the final round. They said that's a first. Major kudos to Edmonton.

And back to back cup wins for my boy Stillman. What irony that the Lightning let him go for Prospal and then didn't even make second round of play offs. 😛

Seriously, last three games Edmonton has been playing crazier than anything I've ever seen. This series was WAY BETTER than the last couple years.

Ditto. This was a great series. The canes came out hitting and got the early lead. Oilers had some good preasure in the 3rd and got close but it just wasnt meant to be.

Well they screwed themselves by giving up a goal a minute into the game on hostile ice for game 7.

For sure. Oilers went beyond everyones expectations and just about pulled it off.

lol... I used to be a Dallas fan until I see Turco and Belfour (even when belfour switched teams) pull their mad stunts...

So now... it's whoever I feel is good enough to win the Stanley Cup...

But I swear... it looked like Markkanen played better than Roloson in the first 2 games...
