I'm thinking Favre has a busted jaw. I thought he'd be back this week. I'm thinking he'll be out for months...if not season/career after this one.

Cowboys officially suck, that is all

Ah, I'd rather have the Cowboys go 1-15 and get coaching changes and hopefully some good linemen drafted than wallow in mere mediocrity. In this way, it's better to lose lose lose as many remaining games as possible if you're a fan. The worst possible thing for the Cowboys for the rest of the year is to win any more games.

God, I listened to Favre's press conference. He's such a self-centered drama queen. He knew he was going to start all week and his two fractured bones aren't nearly as serious as he's making them sound. It's like a three-ring circus with him, Childress, and Moss, who spent five minutes after the game talking about how good the Patriots are.

I seriously hope Favre packs it in. I can't stand him anymore.

For all their overall team performance problems, I've been enormously impressed by the Saints' defense this season. They're sooo much better at stopping the run this year, which was their only weakness last year. Too bad our offense has fallen completely off the map.

...and, interception. What is up with the NO offense this season? Do Bush and Thomas make that much of an impact?

KT

I dunno. Ivory, Jones, and Betts have all proven to be pretty reliably backs. Ivory had a breakout game, rushing for over 150 yards a couple of weeks ago. They just seem too hesitant to lean on their backs enough to open up the pass. When they become one dimensional they make horrible mistakes.

Pass blocking isn't as good as it has been in the past, and when pressured Brees has shown a disturbing tendency for making ill-advised throws. Turnovers have killed them more than anything, and Brees has been responsible for a large percentage of them due to interceptions.

Oddly enough Brees leads the league in completion % and INT's. A really weird combo.
