Well it's only on CBS through the 23rd. It will be on NFLN for most of the rest of the season.

I'm on antenna, so I don't have NFLN. Oh well.

Yeah, I get NFLN, and actually, I prefer it there because its a different broadcast.

I'm not sure why the exact same broadcast is being shown on two different stations every week...its should be either a CBS broadcast or NFLN one.

I actually enjoy the fact we have TNF games because it readies me for the weekend and Sunday games.

In other news today, Peyton Manning was benched for throwing 2 pics, and shortly after threw 4 more TD's from the locker room.

Suck it Jets fan! GO CHARGERS!!!

Charges have always been my second team I normally root for when the Lions are playing like trash.

I think Rivers is the truth, and I'd take him behind probably Rogers and Manning.

I'd definitely take him over Brees and Brady.

Yea, 76yds total offense and 5 1st downs for the ENTIRE game speaks for itself, we all knew SD was playing like a top-tiered team this year but damm, that's an old-fashioned ass-kicking, I don't expect to see Rex there much longer.

Jets probably will be forced to start Vick now, and it would be a move of necessity.

Brady's sorry excuse for an O-line and a lame running game plus one reliable receiver has a lot to do with his poor play as of late, plug him into Denver's team and I think he would play a heck of a lot better.

Yup, surprised to see the Lions lose at home, maybe the Bill's problem was the QB position, holding Stafford and Co to 14 points on the road is not too shabby. A few folks have noted that the Bills have a ton of talent but lacked experience at the QB position.

A win is a win but boy have the Saints regressed. The injuries are piling up as well. The only way the Saints are even sniffing the playoffs is if they win the division which is possible but even then they would be bounced in the first round.

Sean Payton said he was planning on rushing the ball more this season which looks like it is coming true by default because of poor receiver play and the fact that Brees has regressed.

...and also the lack of WR's. The Pats simply don't like paying dudes, I think that will be the fall of the Brady/Beli-cheat era.

But I don't know why Rivers isn't mentioned among the elite by some folks...he's been more successful than Romo, and Romo gets more props.

That's criminal.

Man, you just have to be impressed with Luck, he's just in a "zone" right now where he is putting that team on his back, the 13yrd run for a score was a perfect example, he looked like a RB, not a QB on that play..

It's because of his reputation for not performing well in big games, the ability was never in question. Now he's playing extremely well in big games and blowing out teams like the Jets, I look for SD to be a force to be reckoned with come playoff time.

Kicker, dude...our kicking situation is freaking embarrassing. We're on our second (soon to be third) kicker in 5 weeks.

You know, Orton has always played well against Detroit, but he's a journeyman for a reason...he's not really that good IMO, but he's extremely serviceable and can give you a handful of really good starts when needed.

And yeah, that D was tough...but Megatron, Reggie Bush, and Bell were all hurt (with Bell being out of today's game), so like 70 percent of our offense wasn't really in the game.

Still a win for Buffalo, so I won't take that from them.

From what I hear, letting good players go for that safety (forgot his name) who I think is out for the season is haunting the Saints.

I would attribute their struggles directly to that move.

It's a reason but not a really big one. We did not lose anybody on defense of note except Jenkins who was terrible with the Saints.

On offense our receivers have been sub par. Colston has been making some brutal drops, Still appears to still be dealing with his injury and Meachem is just sort of broken down. Even Graham has been making some drops, granted he has been the best option in the passing game for us. Cooks has been good but he is not a game changer, more of a compliment to the offense. The fact that defenses have not been honoring our passing game has meant much more pressure on Brees which is getting him rattled far too easily. This has caused Brees to turn into a glorified Alex Smith. I'm not taking blame away from Brees though, he has made some very idiotic decisions at times which have led to turnovers. Furthermore he has not been quite on the money with his passes as he has been in the past.

The shining part of our offense has been our running backs (Robinson, Ingram, PT) and our backup TEs.

On defense we have not been getting to the QB enough at all, we may be the last in the league in that statistic. Our tackling has been bad and we only have a measly 2 turnovers in 5 games. Granted our defense played well given the circumstances at home but it has been against two rather bad teams.

Combine that with the list of injuries stacking up and I think we will be lucky to get to 8-8

A late timeout nullifies a NE 1st down play, they should make a rule where you have to get the TO request before the lines are set to go.

Wow, nice catch on that rifle-shot from Brady and Wright managed to hang on to the ball after getting a major pop at the goal-line..
