Ugh, I couldn't even watch 4 quarters of Ponder. I saw the first 1 and a half and went to the gym. Couldn't even bring myself to watch the rest of the game when I got home. It was like GB were playing against children.

This is a prime time game? At least, it wasn't on Sunday night or Monday night. That would have pissed off a lot of people.

Lol, jj watt on his touchdown celebration

"...I think it's called a nae nae? The other part of me is like, man, what? You're a white defensive lineman just go ahead and run it in there - hand the ball to the official please for god's sakes."

Followed by Dwight Howard voicing his support for Watt doing the nae nae anytime he pleases.

Outstanding.

Bushrod avoids benching with hurt knee for bears. I think Britten should know the coverages and is a more polished LT but Ola is somebody they got to keep on the field somehow how he played. No idea who they are gonna pick. Hard choice. ]

DJ williams has 12 tackles in the middle linebacker role 1/4 of the way trough. Dick Butkis is ready to suit up..

Club should put Bostic in the middle for good and let him grow there. Guy needs time and will eventually stop the stupid penalties. Team needs to find a way to get Christian Jones on the field of Greene. Both are much faster than what we have on the field. Bears have a speed deficiency on defence and the players who have speed cant line up and fill gaps right.

Isiah Fry in the nickel is a mistake. Hell put Vereen back there a few more snaps he was a CB in college anyway. Club needs to get young quick. Mcmanis is probably the best option on the roster and knows what to do. I bet he gets the start soon there.

Houston needs to move inside. Been wondering why they havent done that yet? Allen if available will be limited so they gotta do better with the DE rotation. Its not working what they are doing now.

Bears have a winnable game so I am bracing for the upset.

If the Run D can keep backups at bay we may hit number 1 a few times and see Mr Anderson.

For you old bastards like myself that don't know what the nae nae is:

Sims and whatshisface said that "3 top lopsided games records for TNF...last 3 weeks."

If player safety was their biggest concern I could see Thursday games being helpful IF before a Thursday game EVERY team had a bye. The result would instead of 7 days rest and 1x 14 day bye teams would get back to back 11 day and 10 day game weeks. Throw in Monday games before the bye week Thursday game and it goes 8 days, 10 days, and 10 days between games. I think the current bye system is stupid and the short Thursday week is even dumber.

Personally, if they wanted to talk about a longer season, cutting 2x pre-season games, moving to 18 game seasons BUT adding in 2x byes with the above schedule (every bye is followed by a Thursday game). Heck, doing it this way they could have Wednesday or Saturday night games while improving player safety.

EDIT: Beat by others on this point! Example of how stupid the current system is: Seattle has a bye in week 4. Which also coincides with their MNF game so they get 15 days off and then a short 6 day week where they have to travel back across the country.

Another thing that makes no sense is the travelling team on Thursday games should be at home the week before and after the game. Having a team travel back to back road games and one on a 4 day week... their scheduling boggles the mind. Most of us want the best, healthiest teams on the field which so we can get the best product every week and healthy teams (which means better product down the road).

New Orleans will almost certainly win this game, but man does it seem like it's going to be a rough season. I've got no idea why they can't get the defense going (besides Brees' huge payday).

I'm still worried about the Jets being a trap game for the Chargers. They've lost to so many shitty teams in the past that I can't yet believe they can consistently win these games.

Anyone looking for a job as an NFL kicker?

The Lions sure as heck need one -- I guess anyone with a functioning leg will work.

Gould missed one for the bears today. Kickers gonna be kickers.

bears should be up by 3 TDs. Cams gonna put in the end zone again and that missed FG is gonna haunt.

You don't understand the Lions kicking situation. We drafted a rookie whom we ended up cutting that made only 1 kick in 3 games (missed 4), and our new guy missed two today, which would have given us a 6 point lead instead of what is now a tie game in the 4th.

FG's are critical in close games. We may learn just how if we lose today.

fuck the bears

fumble

this loss was worse than the packers loss. This is a game they needed. This is not a playoff team. As rob said tho nobody is playing winning ball.

Just an awful game to lose. This one is squarely on Cutlet. Forte has a share but stupid. Just stupid. Ditka would have set the building on fire today.
