The hit on Foles is no different than a defender getting blindsided as well, which a lot of people think is perfectly fine. Good football play!

Had that happened to Romo instead of Foles, everyone would be in here cheering. If the ball is tipped, you can do whatever you want right?

Also, wtf is wrong with SF? It is like they don't play after the first quarter anymore.

The issue wasn't that the hit was late, it was it was a blindside block on the QB (which happens to nearly every other player, and it is okay, btw). It was in the vicinity of the play, but was a cheap shot. Of course, the classless Eagles are going to start a fight over it. God forbid someone put a big on hit on one of their players. They certainly haven't had bounties to end Cowboy player's careers...

I wish the 49er's would play you know both HALVES of the game, instead of just showing up for the first two quarters.

Also wtf is up with the penalties? To me it's a reflection on the coach, I don't like the direction the team has been headed since the end of last season.

lol, defending your QB isn't "classless" because it was a cheap shot to begin with.

Had that hit been delivered on a sack, then yeah, fighting about it is "classless".

Defending your QB by starting a brawl that clears the bench is classless. There is no reason for such foolishness.

The brawling is stupid, but that's just a consequence of on the field fights.

How about players not cheap-shotting QBs (or other players for that matter)?

Have to admit, I'm pleased to see SanFran losing games. I really hope that extending Kaep comes back to bite them and they realize how overrated he really is unless he takes steps to improve overall and stop with the inconsistent play.

They lost to Drew freaking Stanton for crying out loud. That's really bad.

Hard to keep watching when every stopped third down in defense gets a flag to give the other team a first. Swore it happened like 5-8 times yesterday leading to their two TDs. Oh well. Our offense sucks. Greg Roman needs to go.

Yeah, but that was Michael Irving. So, meh.

Bounty Bowl wasn't about Irvin. The first was about the kicker cut by the Eagles a few weeks before (Zendejas) and the second (two weeks later) was about the kicker and Troy Aikman. Not to mention, there were already rumors of bounties on every hit on a punter.

The Irvin incident was pretty classless, but since he is (was, I guess...) just a terrible person, I can't say it was surprising. In my eyes, he is worse than Ray Lewis, as he was the sole reason the Cowboys didn't draft Randy Moss. They were afraid of another problem receiver.

Those absurd penalties happened multiple times in every game they've played and somehow only occur on 3rd downs. Refs tried to screw over the 49ers even in Game 1 but Romo said no

great game DEN-SEA.

bad ref neutral zone NOT called on that DEN 3rd down. probably would have made a diff.

but good to lose now, than in the SB (if they meet again?)? LOL!

That's as bad a call as I've ever seen, and it was devastating. Probably cost us the game.

Yeah that was a bad flag...wish it wasn't spot of foul penalty but I guess it has to be or they'd just maul the receiver on deep passes if beat.

Eh, defender never looked for the ball so I'd go w/ no call...but yeah if someone was flagged should have been offense.

finally get someone in jay's face and he promptly throws it to the wrong team...unfortunately it was to the hands of a DL and just ended up deflected.
