My picks this week

It really sucks when bad officiating is such a huge factor.

I was telling my friend that maybe the NFL should throw in the towel and let ALL penalty calls be eligible for challenge and review by the central office. The piss-poor officiating last year is what caused them to go to central review this year, so I think they need to expand the reviewable plays if the officials continue to be morons.

Are you ready for games to be 5 hours long?

Simple rule change: if the penalty doesn't affect the outcome of the play, its not called.

Games are long enough as it is with forced "media" breaks. I don't even want to know how long a game will last if they expanded that.

You guys are forgetting one thing -- challenges aren't unlimited. Each team gets a set amount. Give each team one more challenge apiece and open the reviews up.

Simple rule change: if the penalty doesn't affect the outcome of the play, its not called.

That still leaves too much judgment in the hands of the officials and going by the past couple of seasons, their judgment is the entire problem.

So spearing a receiver in the head leaving him unconscious shouldn't be called a personal foul if he wasn't targeted by the quarterback?

Wah wah wah about the refs. All I know is the Colts still had a chance to win that game last night and they choked by going 3 and out in their own house. Iggles now 2-0 with the division well in hand, bitches. Oh, and SPROLES.

My picks last week stunk. Hopefully this week is better.

The Colts went down without a fight on that last drive. Not going for it on fourth down was really, really dumb IMO. Pep Hamilton is a moron.

The Eagles, like the Colts, play in a weak division and will win their division and then die in the playoffs.

Sme good lulz, rihanna gives cbs the chris brown treatment, cbs responds by totally ditching rihanna and "going with a new" theme for the pregame show.

wait

How in the hell is Denver vs Seattle not a Sunday night game?

CBS probably pulled some strings to keep it.

So no one picked the Panthers to win last Sunday, but everyone is picking them to beat Steelers this week? Gives me a bad feeling.

Panthers were down to ONE healthy RB vs Lions - JStewart.
DeAngelo Williams, Mike Tolbert, and Fozzie Whitaker all hurt . . .

Seth Meyers actually said something reasonable last night:

- KO your fiance, 2 game suspension
- Beat your kid, 1 game suspension
- Smoke a bowl, 10 game suspension

wait, what?
