Vick didn't even have that bad of a game. His QB rating was like 97 or something. He threw for over 300 yards, 2TD, and 1 INT (his first all season). That was against a very good chicago defense. He lead a pretty impressive comeback as well.

It was the eagles D that really blew that game.

he did have two fumbles, but I don't think he lost any of those. It was funny, because near the end and that last TD, I thought he was having a freaking horrible game.

then they showed his 300+ yards, and the no-count on the fumbles. He really had an awesome game considering how poorly the Eagles O-line played.

san diego might not even get to the playoffs. if they can't surpass kc then it'll be hard for them to get a wild card over the jets/pats or steelers/ravens. meanwhile, someone from the nfc west will get a ticket.

Can't disagree with that assessment. The NFC West is atrocious, being a Cardinals fan right now is interesting. Tonight's game will be competitive between to crappy teams, so at the same time it might be the worst MNF game ever. Niners win, Cards have no passing game, running game or defense--can't win anything with that combination. An alien landing anywhere on earth yesterday could tell you that. And we have the sports pages interviewing team officials and they are stating that 'hey, we're only two games out of first place'. What? Oh, well such is life with this team....hopefully the Bidwell's will be gone someday.

Been a lot of lame Monday Night games recently. They usually do a very good job scheduling games for MNF.

Lame is one way to look at tonight's game. Another way to look at it is a "fierce battle for playoff positioning." Remember, both of these teams are only 1 game out of first place so it is conceivable that one of these two awful teams could win the division.

Sad, I know.

Dude if Indy was in the NFC West you guys would be running the table.

Packers and Falcons would've made for a far far better MNF game than this shit. I'm probably not even going to watch it at all.

You know, sometimes you can get really good games when you have one bad team vs. another. Remember that awesome Lions-Browns game last year where Stafford threw a TD pass on a final untimed play?

Both these teams are desperate for a win - it might just be worth watching.

Probably, though my confidence in the Colts has been greatly shaken the last few weeks ago. My only consolation is that I was 100% correct in what I said in the offseason and their performance thus far has proven me correct.

Someone here said the AFC South "sucks" earlier. On the contrary, top-to-bottom, I think it is probably the best division in football.

NFC-South, AFC-North and AFC-East are better, IMO

This matchup was good before the season started. Everybody was picking the 49ers to win this division, and Arizona was the reigning division champ.

Obviously they were totally overrated and Pete Carroll and Sam Bradford were totally underrated.

A one Tom Brady has something to say about that 😀 At least Phillip Rivers has a defense, this is the worst Patriots Defense in their team's history. Tom is literally carrying the team on his back.

Pats running game is doing pretty well. But yeah, do we have a defense? Can't even slow anyone down, much less stop them.

The NFC South and AFC North, however, each have an extremely bad team (Panthers and Bengals) so I think that places them below the AFC South. The AFC East has Buffalo, but I will say, Buffalo plays hard and you can't help but to root for them.

They have the niners by 1 on the spread, I would easily give the points on this bet. The cardinals QB situation is a mess.

Playing the numbers game is probably the easiest way. AFC East teams have 26 total wins which is the most of any division. NFC South has 25, the second most. The next best after that of any division is 22 with tonights game not able to change that. Also, the top team in the NFC South, the Falcons, haven't played the Panthers yet and have only played 2 division games, so their record has largely come at the expense of other divisions.
