and that's what you call an announcer jinx

"cincinnati is scoring a lot of points right at the end of the half and end of games. and that's with a rookie quarterback. that's when they're supposed to be at their worst"

*andy dalton hangs one up to the end zone, ed reed gets the pick to end the half*

"and he'll learn, that's a rookie mistake right there, you can't hang one up over the middle if number 20 is out there."

Bucs D was actually playing pretty well there...but it just didn't matter. Somehow Rodgers always get the first down even when everything goes to shit.

i switched to NASCAR. the only game i get is that disaster in miami. dtv still wants 200 for the rest of the season of sunday ticket.

I just don't get it.

TB is down by two scores with 6 minutes to play facing a 4th and 3. And they decide to punt it to:

1) a really dangerous returner

2) the best offense in the NFL

Doesn't the time come during a game where you have to make a stand? Isn't the chance of picking up a 4th and 3 better than stopping Aaron Rodgers twice?

I'd guess that less than a quarter of flagged "horse collars" are actually horse collars. Hey refs, hair is legal. Grabbing the back of the jersey is legal.

I'm fine with the concept, but the implementation of this rule is fucking retarded.

Aaron Rodgers just threw a pick!

Wow 26-28 now.

Wow..

Rodgers to Nelson is looking like Manning to Harrison/Wayne.

Those two guys have a serious connection.

Outside that steaming pile that Buffalo dropped....there's been some good games so far. Bucs vs Packers was a good one. Dallas vs. Wash is tied going into OT. Lions and Panthers are in a cat fight. I'm guessing that the Bears vs Chargers & Eagles vs. Giants are good too.

lol @ Tavaris Jackson of my Seahawks: 2 pass attempts for 2 interceptions in the first 5 minutes of the games.
