Young looks absolutely horrible so far. Actually Philly offense in general looks terrible. But Young is the mostest terriblest.

There was an offsetting penalty by the other team in this case.. Offsetting penalties mean a do over of the play.

Yeah, but I think Eagles should have been able to decline the penalty and then get 15 yards from the end. But, eh, Carey probably thought that Jackson deserved that.

Tough break for Cutler. He's a tough guy playing through the broken thumb.

I guess Vince Young is so inspiring that the defense is stepping up and he just wins despite having some accuracy issues.

The bears need three wins; maybe throw some money at Garrard to manage some games if Cutler is out for a while.

If there are offsetting penalites, the procedure is automatic. Neither team has the choice of declining one.

Yeah, okay. Just looked it up. Live and dead ball are considered part of the same play according to one of those Mike Pereira things. A 15 yard penalty supercedes a 5 yard but that wasn't the case here.

What did he do?

Caught a 50 yard bomb starting from the Eagles' 2 yard line so it was a huge play. He tossed the ball at the Giants' D coordinator and did some light taunting on their sidelines. Got called for taunting + Giants' penalty meant that it got called back.

What a moron.

Mike Carey, the referee for sunday night football, is 62 years old!! Figure he was in his early 50's.
