Predicting a few upsets.. wonder if it'll pan out.

I'll be at the 49ers game so not much for watching others this week.

Actually, yes, yes it would. Eli Manning is the luckiest QB, ever. His luck will run out on Sunday.

Well in the first SB, yea, the helmet catch was incredibly lucky not to mention the ridiculous amount of holding the O line got away with and BB's dumb decision to go for a 4th and 3 instead of kicking a FG. The second SB was not a luck job IMO, he threw a perfect pass into double coverage, their receivers made the tough catches, ours didn't, (cough Wes Welker, cough). At least we've got a legitimate running game this year, not just one you use to "keep 'em honest", the pass D looks suspect as ever unfortunately..

I feel this is less of a prediction and more of a "no team can have a better record than the 49ers". It's one thing to predict Green Bay might upset Houston, even if Houston has a fantastic team. But Oakland over the Falcons? It would seem much more likely if you predicted the Falcons will fall in their next game after the bye week which is against the Eagles.

Wasn't thinking along those lines, but I could see how that happens. I just think both undefeated teams lose this weekend. Atlanta is lucky to be 5-0 so far. GB/Houston is a game some were predicting would be a preview of the Super Bowl.. either team could win IMO.

How they got to the SB was pure luck, maybe some resiliency, but mostly luck. And a too-soon-called forward progress fumble that wasn't. And two bad punt returns.

Edit: also forgot about the two interceptions that weren't.

steelers looking like they will have difficulty making the playoffs this year. QB is the only thing keeping them competitive at the moment.

Hopefully the Titans can pull this one out. Pittsburgh is one of the few teams I just never want to see our team lose to. Lots of Pittsburgh fans here (probably the same for many markets around the country so I'm sure lots of you can relate).

Wow the Steelers lost to the Titans. I think the Steelers season is cooked, they had so many injuries this game.

I wonder how many people just ended their survivor pick'em seasons on that game. Yahoo says 20.66% of people chose Pitt this week.

Doesn't matter how you get there, we got there on a "tuck" rule that could have easily been called a fumble, game over. What mattered is we beat the Rams when got there...

And what about Chris Johnson showing up in this game? 19 carries for 91 yards and 4 receptions for 23 yards

If they get Jake Locker back soon they may be on an upswing. They are at the Bills next week and still have Jacksonville twice.

Go Fins, you are only 1 game behind 1st place.

I'm expecting a good game from them when they go to Foxborough, Tannerhill is making good decisions and there run D is currently ranked 6th, interesting to see how the new young RB's of the Pats will fare against an active front..

You need to put more heart into it and Rise Up!
Go Falcons!

Yeah, so we play Oakland, it should at least mean we'll be 6-0 and I'll be there cheering on the ass kicking they put out.

While there is some reason to celebrate the success so far, I've been "disappointed" too many times with the Falcons...have been following them since they started in '66. It took until 2008 for the Falcons to get back-to-back winning seasons. Sheesh.

I am cautiously optimistic, but I've been down this road before, too many times.

We shall see.

I'd be much more excited about CJ if all of the Steelers top defenders had been in the lineup. But at least it's a start.

We will see which Fins show up. If they have been played up to their potential, they would be at 4-1 now. Or could be 5-0 if the last 5 minutes before half time of the first game did not count. 😛

Everybody got burned by the replacement ref's, everybody..

1-1 already

I told you all, Steelers won't even make the playoffs this year

The Dolphins have got to be the most surprising team for me. After watching hard knocks I was dead set on them getting maybe 2 wins this year max and had no faith in their new head coach.

However I was totally wrong, they are a pretty good team. Tannehill is looking decent, I like their running backs and they have a solid run defense. Schedule is pretty tough though, still have to face the rest of the NFC West and the Patriots twice. I think even a 7-9 or 8-8 season would be a success for the franchise at this point but I would not be surprised if they managed to get into the playoffs on a wildcard.

I think that with a few more play makers on offense they would be a legit playoff contender.

NFC West in general is my biggest surprise. Yeah, we knew SFO would be decent but Seattle, Arizona and now even St Louis are playing very solid football. That's a competitive conference that flies under the radar. NFC South is the most disappointing. ATL is good, but the rest it total crap. Was expecting more out of Tampa with their offseason pickups, hoped that Carolina would mature more, and did not expect NO to only have 1 win at this point.
