Nope, I haven't been able to. As a matter of fact, I was actually able to get to the Elite site, but it said I needed to play a multiplayer match when I'm already rank 26 or so.

I have a pretty decent home theater that I have my primary xbox on (61" TV and 7.1 sound). The campaign is really loud and tons of bass. My GF jumped when i unpaused the game one time. Also she seems to not be as excited as I am about MW3 for some odd reason....lol

Loving the game so far. It's definitely an adjustment coming from black ops. There is so much chaos in comparison, but I like it.

Still undecided on the maps. I don't hate them, but I can't say that I love them yet either. For modes like domination it just feels like there is no way to hold down your side and defend. It's just like a constant circle of take a flag, move to the next one, and so on.

I agree about Domination, but it's a great way to level up guns. If you're looking to level up guns quickly, things like Domination and Kill Confirmed will probably be the best methods.

Yeah I think i was averaging about 30-40 kills per domination game, got up to max proficiency with the M4A1 and working on the CM 901 or whatever now.

Domination is one of my all time favorite modes anyways so it's no problem playing it.

Same, but I'm still working on my M4A1 - I'd like to try other guns, but I'm one of those people who feels compelled to max out a weapon before I move on.

Have to say, I am enjoying the SCAR while the M16 seemed a lot different than the one in MW2, a lot weaker. Playing BF3 a bunch really screwed up my MW3 senses but after a few rounds last night I was finally able to readjust back.

I got my butt kicked last night. I believe I was having connection issues because I was shooting people and they would not die only to have them fling around and headshot me (or it seemed).

Its early, but I prefer Black Ops. The graphics and the map design seem to have taken two steps backwards. The maps are really bland in my opinion.

I'll be on again tonight, hope to catch some of you online.

Kabob, I also got the Reaper killstreak and I had quite a few kills with it. I guess it depends on the map too.

This game needs an install to hard drive or it is going to kill my PS3. It is constantly reading the disc while playing, and it is incredibly annoying.

Mostly feels like a big addon to MW2. Which isn't bad.

i haven't played blops or mw2 in several months. i picked up my controller last night and my fingers knew exactly what to do. i didn't even have to do a mental check at the beginning to make sure i had the mapping of the buttons in my head. it was kind of weird.

i played domination and it sure gets annoying when no one else is capping flags. i was scoring high on my teams even though my k/d was something like 9/28 on average because no one was capping.

This could be correct. I only played FFA last night and at that only a handful of rounds but did level up quickly and seemed to get a lot of perks/points for my play style of quickly aiming down sights and killing within 2 seconds of aiming.

Got some kleptomania emblem for stealing peoples stuff and some other emblem for killing people with 3 different methods in one life.

Really can't wait to play some more tonight.

MW3 can't hold a candle to BF3 in the graphics department but I'll give it major credit for a stable launch with millions of people trying to log on at the same time. I was able to connect without a hitch yesterday and every match was silky smooth.

The maps themselves are a mixed bag. Hard Hat is just gruesome looking while the African village map and some others show some personality at least if not stellar graphics.

I was having the same connection issues as well. I hope it's just lag because the game was just released.

I don't fault the game itself for my connection issues. We just bought a new house and a recent speed test showed a slower latency for me (45ms). I checked again this morning and it seems to be much improved (<30ms) so hopefully it was just a temporary thing. Its a brand new housing community and the cable guy (Charter) said that it will become more stable as more homes are hooked up around me. I'm not sure how true that is, who knows.

I'm not the best player and have no problems getting beat, but when I shoot someone in the face or back of the head, I expect to get a kill for it. Otherwise, its just not fun after a while 🙂 I was about a 1.5 k/d in BLOPS, and only .49 or so after last night so hopefully I can improve on that.

IMO this is basically a large DLC for MW2, the graphics and physics seem the exact same to me.

One thing I can say went way down hill for me is the Spec Ops, in MW2 the Spec Ops was awesome from beginning to end. I've only done 6 of the missions so far but it's been very boring in comparison (maybe if I played these 6 years ago they would seem fun),but MW2 with the aircraft junkyard, that cabin level and the snipers level are just 3 missions that really raised the bar for me that so far MW3 has taken steps backwards from.

The survival mode is just another zombies/horde/onslaught mode that every other game has already milked to death.

My friend and I also got dropped from spec ops due to a "connection error" but our xbox live party and comms stayed on just fine, so not sure about that but seems to be a little buggy on some code, that can be fixed though.

I was a 1.78 in blops, and in this I feel like I'll be lucky if I can approach 1.5 if the lag keeps acting the way it does. My connection is pretty awesome, so it's either the game or whoever the host is that's the problem.

Also, it doesn't help that people are constantly spawning behind you (sometimes after you've just killed them and getting a "payback kill").

They never fixed this in MW2, and they've had 2 years to fix it in MW3, so I'm sure they won't patch it. So the problem will only get worse as people learn the maps and learn how to quickly get back to where they were just killed so they can get payback.
