How do you determine how many shots it takes for a take down, for a particular gun?
100/[damage per bullet], rounded up to the nearest integer.

I'd say my 13-15 nukes are evidence the ACR is superior (in my hands) than any SMG.
Also, the "three guys rush into a room" scenario doesn't happen to me either. I always have a claymore set up, so at least one dies instantly, and the other is stunned. Plus, unless they are rushing from the back of me, I see them coming and usually have put shots on them before they enter.
But, as you pointed out, in the specific situation you've outlined, this information is very good. Although, I'd like to see some info on the shotguns.
The data jbourne posted does not account for play style; he made that clear. If you're using a claymore and you're staying near it, then it makes sense that a SMG wouldn't be the ideal weapon for you.
13-15 nukes isn't really proof of anything other than that you got 13-15+ 25 kill streaks. It's an impressive accomplishment, but maybe you'd have gotten 16 if you used a SMG? Or maybe not, because SMGs don't fit your preferred play style.
Yes, I did. Thank you for saving me from the crowing!Perhaps me meant Stopping Power instead of Deep Impact
I use ACR with silencer. Scavenger (or I run out of ammo), Stopping Power, and Commando. My equipment is claymore and two flash grenades. My secondary is a stringer simply because I don't like to rely on my team to shoot down air support and I have the option of getting it down quickly by having something on hand. My kill streak rewards are Harrier (7), Chopper Gunner (11), and Tactical Nuke (25). I have no problems getting to 7, so nothing under that makes a lot of sense. Plus, I use the Harrier more to see if enemies are in a certain area or on an objective more than the kill. Once I get my Chopper Gunner though, I can easily get to at least 19-20 without trying very hard. Most of the time though I'll hit my nuke from it or be 1-2 shy.
Commando? You knife alot?
Anyone confirm if this is live on Xbox yet? I would love to have the MM glitch fixed most of all. I've come to find that my party of 3 makes it into about 1 of 5 games. We either lose somebody or the "game lobby closed". Javelin glitch died down a ton once people started getting banned for it.1.06 is out for the PS3.
No matter what I try (static IP outside of DHCP range, forwarding about 7 ports) i still cannot get an open NAT status. What gives?

gocorps - Direct wire in router.
Here are the ports I am forwarding:
1500
3005
3101
2700-27050
28960
3074
53
I just put it on the DMZ. We'll see if that works. I prefer not to have anything on DMZ.
you may be messing up your router as you are routing certain ports multiple times (all to the 360??) and it may confuse the router - you have 2700-27050 and then 3074 seperate, 3005, 3101 seperate...why?
also, set up your 360 to have a static internal ip, either in your router as static dhcp or in your 360 itself
try 88 & 3074, that is all i ever used and it worked perfectly, i think all you need is udp, but just put udp and tcp to keep it quick
last who is your isp? i have read situtaions that since mw2 uses a p2p server setup, where everybody shares in the bandwidth, some of the more strict isps think this is p2p torrents or a virus sending out traffic, so that may be another avenue to look into if 88 & 3074 don't fix your issue
My mistake. I meant 27000-27050. I'll drop it down to 88 and 3074 like you said, TCP/UDP. My ISP is Verizon DSL. The 360 is on a static IP.
few of my buddies and I signed up for a league on gamebattles.com. Playing our first match tonight!
