Well I guess I'll watch this tonight when I get home. So we get backwards compatibility now, what about the arcade games that we bought on Xbox 360?
The Xbox one still doesn't have a poker game, hell I'd buy full house poker again even if it's the 360 version that works on my xbone.

Modding in fallout 4 is a huge win

Publishers just have to agree to allow the backwards compatibility. Over 100 games by holiday this year. Any that support it and are bought digitally will be added to your account automatically. Did anyone catch how disks work? Does it download a digital copy and just auth with the disk?

so far this conference is a complete strikeout to me. absolutely nothing that excites me.
That sucks for you. I'm pumped for the backwards compatibility I had a shit load of arcade games last gen. I'd be happy if I got just a couple of them back.
Fallout 4 mods on a console is huge. I know your not into that because it's a big deal

i want to see something that we didn't know was already coming out and isn't a sequel.

i mean halo 5, forza 6, madden 16, rainbox 6, the division (which i think they've shown at every e3 since 2013), fallout 4, and a bunch of indie games. indie games look more exciting than anything they've shown.

that one recore game looked neat, but we need more of that. but it looked to have no gameplay shown so it's kinda moot at this early to me.

"Hey guys! Have you ever wanted to experience all the fun and agony that PC users have had with Steam Greenlight?"

"Well, uh, not really mister!"

"That's great, because here's Xbox Game Preview! You'll get to pay money for incomplete games on the premise of promises that could change the very next day. If the game goes under, well... check out another game!" 😎

EDIT:

Although, to be fair, there is a free trial for every game, which is actually a good idea. No more silly asset flipping like you get on Steam (people making "games" using terrible, generic, Unity-Store-bought assets).

it would be awesome if we saw that new extreme racing game that the burnout team has been working on. i hope we see some of it this week.

is it an MMO?

i got pretty excited (watching live blog not the video stream) when i saw it was something pirates, because i was talking to a friend recently abou thow we haven't had any pirate games in ages. and no assassins creed isn't what i count as a pirate game.

but if it's an MMO, then nm.

It looked MMOish.

Every person in it had a name over their head in MMO fashion. Not sure though.

New Rare IP.

MMO Pirate game?

Sea of Thieves

Yeah, I'd like to know more about what kind of game this is. I'm probably not interested if it's an MMO. The names could just be co-op support though, which is always welcome.

Valve VR? Only for Fable or Xbox as well?

Hololens is here. Minecraft on Hololens. Seen it before.
