Wow the shows on right now live eh? Sweet.

I don't get to listen to it live since I moved to Oz... its 11pm here at the moment and in the morning, like every morning, I will download the episode from the Stern newsgroup.

I have this damn song stuck in my head, it's actually pretty catchy. 😀

I always think their jingles are funny, mostly because they get the most wholesome-sounding, professional jingle singers to create them. "If you want to win a date with porn star Taylor Rain-O . . . "

I'm listening to the Intern Beauty Pageant and it's a little hard to get through without the visuals. On the bright side, it's nice to hear Jeff Levy again - that guy is one of the world's weirdest humans - and Cliff Palate is pretty funny too.

when is alanis comming on the show?

I dunno - I think it's any day now. It might be tomorrow, actually - they often like to have guests for the stupid Mike Walker game (I swear I think the only reason they have kept that up for years is that Howard fears his wrath), and they seldom have them on Mondays. so they can talk about their weekends.

Favorite bit today was definitely the prank call by KC to High Pitch Eric. HPE is one of the funniest characters in the history of the show, and that was too damn funny. The Taylor Rain Dance was funny too.

What's a good program for downloading files from newsgroups? I can get to alt.binaries.howard-stern through Outlook Express, but I can't DL the files. Thanks.

I use Newsbin Pro 4.04, but I'm sure they've come out with newer versions, I've just been too lazy to upgrade.

Whatever happened to Crackhead Bob?

IIRC the strain and temptations of being a celebrity of sorts became too much for Bob and it was threatening his sobriety. So Bob's sister encouraged him to withdraw from the Stern show limelight and asked that the show respect that decision rather than trying to bring him back.

Hey, I just realized Howard read my e-mail on the air today:

Howard:

I love you and the show, and it is great lately.

That said, I have to call you out for accusing Jimmy Kimmel of ripping you off by playing Bingo.

Howard, this is NOT a ripoff. You did not invent Bingo, and there is nothing so unique about Bango that you own the whole concept of playing Bingo on the air. Even if Jimmy or his writers heard your show and were inspired (which frankly is less than obvious to me), who cares? You might as well say that Leno or Letterman are ripping you off by making jokes about Bush falling off his bike.

Where has KC been? Haven't heard him since before they went to Vegas.

Yeah, he hasn't been around at all the last coupla weeks. I'm sure they would have talked about it if he had left. He should be prominently featured when that guy Richard Christie (the one who writes all the hilarious gay-KC songs) comes in to try out for John's job. I have high hopes for him, but at this point it seems like nobody has seriously competed with Sal.

Yeah I agree with you. Sal was the most consistent by far through out the week. The others had good moments here and there.

LOL I was dying at that story about the guy doing the hen and getting caught.....

actually, now that you say that, I wonder if KC actually went to get help for his dilusional experiences he's been having......

holy brownie, $275,000 per incident?
he's going to be off air pretty soon.
siri and xm must be happy because he might choose to go satelite.
