I hate consolidated threads... Howard Stern is such a wide topic, he needs more than one thread.

Actually, I made it more to discuss what was happening on radio show, but there was no way to stop it getting political since that's the majority topic on the show now, unfortunately.

yea.. can't wait until this political crap is done.. probably won't happen till november after the election if he is still on the air. but he's still entertaining... you don't have to agree with what he says to get a laugh.

At least. so far, Mel and Infinity are standing behind Howard unlike those pu**y cowards at Clear Channel. Then only thing that is clear about their channel is that they are blowing GWB.

I was dying laughing this morning when they were talking to Karina and her Step-Dad over the phone. Her Step-Dad was so hilarious... she got naked in front of him and he was acting all slow and stupid. "Yepper, she ain't wearin' nuttin but a hat and some boots..."

That family sounds a little weird to me though... but I looked her up online and she is smokin' hot.

LOL I plan on doing that too when I get home, I don't think work would appreciate me doing a google on Barely Legal 38. I agree, her mom and dad were so funny. And wtf was with the big fat dude who won the 'date' with her?? How could he not be all over that? It was great when they were ragging on him for his lunch.

I must agree that is one messed up family. How can you watch your own step-daughter gettin banged by some random duded and not object? It was damn funny tho.

Anyone on here listen to tom lycus, he funny as hell also not sure on the spelling.

You are incorrect.

It was Barely Legal 39.

Unfortunately, our local station still carries him.

And that's what's great about this country, you have the choice to either listen if you want to (like me and 14 million others), or don't (like you). Bush and the religious right are looking to take away this freedom. What about this don't people understand?

actually around where i live we dont have that choice, he is on every radio station worth listning to, so the choices are country crap or howard crap, as a result i have gotten used to scilence

Same here. I wish he was gone already so that my rock station could play music instead.

They wouldn't play music, though. He would just replaced by a tamer and less funny "morning zoo" type program.
And believe me. If you already think Stern isn't funny, you haven't heard these amateurs trying to emulate him. It's awful.

I used to listen to local jocks Lamont and Tonelli and I thought they were funnier.
BTW, whenever Stern is not on the air for some reason, they do play music. In any case Stern aint funny at all so if need be, I hope he's replaced with someone who is.

I have to agree with this. Stern is not funny at all. He used to be just "alright" but now he's a big pansy.

He's on more than one station in your area?

What did I win? Gonna send me a copy of it?

I don't see how anyone can be offended by Howard. If you don't like it then change the channel.

I've never liked his stuff and that's why I don't listen to him. But how could anyone take offense? It's Howard, everyone knows what he's about. Don't put him on if you don't like him.

I'm in Pittsburgh, and Howard Stern was replaced by music. There's no DJ, it's a computer playing about half modern horrible nu-metal type songs, and half classic alternative (Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Smashing Pumpkins).

I like the classic alternative, but Howard Stern was more entertaining.

I have the solution for everyone in the Florida/San Diego/Pittsburg/NY markets where Crap Channel pulled the plug on Howard (or for anyone else for that matter:

1) Download Newsbin Pro 4.x or 5.x (or your favorite program for accessing newsgroups)

2) alt.binaries.howard-stern

3) Download the commercial free show in .mp3 format, every day

4) Listen at your convienience

There, no excuse for anyone that has access to a computer not to be able to hear Howards show, even if he's not on in your local listening area.

Disguisting. My father fought in the Korean war so you can deny Howard his free speech rights?

GO BACK TO RUSSIA!

While we're on the mp3 subject, is there a way to share and stream the mp3s as an on-demand server? I tried Shoutcast but it won't let me FF or REW.

Hmm, there has to be a way to do it, I'm pretty sure that's all Winamp Radio is. I'm not sure exactly how to do it though.

There's no doctors, lawyers, executives, VP's, police officers, firefighters, etc. in that group of listeners, right?

I should have specifically said maturity, which is completely separate from intelligence. Still, I'll let it stand. Howard is the radio equivalent of reality tv. Lots of people like his show, but chances are that if you do you are not a smart person. It's probably the most mindless form of entertainment on radio and it's specialty is using shock value to cater to the lowest common denominator. Take it as you will.
