Unfortunately, our local station still carries him.

Same here. I wish he was gone already so that my rock station could play music instead.

And that's what's great about this country, you have the choice to either listen if you want to (like me and 14 million others), or don't (like you). Bush and the religious right are looking to take away this freedom. What about this don't people understand?

They wouldn't play music, though. He would just replaced by a tamer and less funny "morning zoo" type program.
And believe me. If you already think Stern isn't funny, you haven't heard these amateurs trying to emulate him. It's awful.

Change your avitar, you don't deserve to display the American flag.

Don't even get me started on loss of freedom and personal choice.

I used to listen to local jocks Lamont and Tonelli and I thought they were funnier.
BTW, whenever Stern is not on the air for some reason, they do play music. In any case Stern aint funny at all so if need be, I hope he's replaced with someone who is.

Really. And you judged me already without knowing me. That has a lot to say about you and your tolerences. I wonder how you behave in modern society or do you just make presumptions and judgements on a whim without any rational thinking.
BTW don't change yours. You look like a fuming piece of coal.

Enjoy.

While we're at it please explain why 172 Democrats want to further the "Religious Rights" agenda?

I'm 100% against why he was pulled from the air. That doesn't mean I like him or would miss him if he's gone. I wish they'd get rid of him because he's an idiot and his show caters to people with minds that never advanced past the 8th grade level at best. No offense to anyone who does listen to him. That's why I'd like to see him pulled. Not because I find him immoral. There's a difference. Not everyone who dislikes Howard and is glad he's gone is happy because they have some crusade against him for moral and ethical reasons. Some of us are just sick of his tired act plugging up our airwaves.

So, 14-20 million listeners don't have a mind that advanced past the 8th grade level according to flxnimprtmscl.

There's no doctors, lawyers, executives, VP's, police officers, firefighters, etc. in that group of listeners, right?

I think he's confusing Stern's listeners with his guests.

Wow. I had no idea that in some parts of this country people are forced to listen to Stern. And I just thought it was a choice thing...

Its all about getting votes from those who seem to care more about Jeanet's bewbie than the sad state of the economy/education system/etc....

Whatever happened to "I may disagree with what you have to say, but I shall defend, to the death, your right to say it."

Whether you like Howard Stern or not is not the issue here. The issue is whether people should have the option to listen to him. The FCC wants to take that option away.

Let me make this easy for you. Think of your FAVORITE tv show. Chances are people wont like that particular show even though its your favorite. Now if all these people complain to the network about the show, the network might cancel that show. But see, what the people dont realize is that you can easily FLIP the CHANNEL if you dont like whats going on. Just because its out there doesnt mean you need to watch it.

Basically my point is, leave Howard to "the idiots" (which is an EXCELLENT stereotype I may add
rolleye.gif
) that listen to his show. Its not hurting you at all.

Dont like it? Dont listen to it. It's as simple as that.
