Despite having a rental copy in the mail from Gamefly, I couldn't wait. I printed out a free rental coupon for Blockbuster and just ran up there and rented GTAIV. They had more rental copies for a game than I've ever seen for a Blockbuster.

I'm amazed you were able to get it. How many copies is more than you've ever seen? I think the most I've ever seen is 4 or 5, but I usually don't even try for new releases anymore.

What's the best deal going for the game right now? CC has a $10 gift card if you buy it today and Target has a $5 off coupon for any game or toy over $25.
I was thinking maybe Fry's would have something...do they?

Any chance there's some sort of minor content filter?
I know it probably "takes away from the game" but if it's the difference between being able to play and not being able to I'd take it!

rofl, losers selling copies of GTA:4 on ebay for almost $400. This happens with every release, I remember seeing people trying to sell Halo 3 Legendary for $5,000+ the day it was released saying "almost sold out, your once chance!" etc etc. Now I see 'em in store for $70.

I really hope no one is buying those copies, but you know someone is. I just don't understand people who are willing to pay outrageous prices for things that are readily available.

I remember these complaints when GTA:SA came out. You people realize that the crappiest cars are usually at the beginning of the game, right? Not every single car is crappy at the beginning I'm sure, but the majority probably are?

A-la PS3. Not that they were "readily available" but so many scalpers bought them you could get them on day 2 for under cost. Friend of mine and had a chance to sell it for $900 on day one but didn't think $300 was worth the 32 hours she spent in Wal-Mart so she had a friend outbid and win it. I think she finally sold it a month or so later for like $500.

GTA IV is really pointing out the flaws in my DLP. Even with the brightness all the way up (in game), the dark scenes are nearly impossible to see. Driving at night sucks![]()
