i have seen it in the game and it actually looks pretty stupid heh.

and when I was in BB i was surprised to see like 15 Wiifit's sitting there.

Oh, I knew it would look stupid, still people will want to scream to the heavens "look at my gunz!" and such. If they really wanted to move CE's they include something like a playable character, I don't think gold guns do alot for most people.

Is there a shortage of Wiifits? There seem to be plenty 'round here (probably because most people around here are so...non-fit).

well the CE's have the 5 remade maps included in them which I'm sure will hit the marketplace at some point for a fee heh.

+1. The only benefit would be if they were included on the disk with the CE, but I'm pretty sure all versions just have the download code.

Yeah so nevermind, it sold in under an hour...now I'm tempted to go back to GS and ask for a few more (kidding).

I believe the reason for this is that they want to limit re-selling. If you want the maps, you have to buy a NEW copy thus they get the profits. That way theres less incentive to buy from ebay or used if you really want the maps.

Regardless, I'm sure the maps will show up on marketplace for a price or free anyway.

This is exactly why they did it as a single use code in the booklet/packaging, they want to reduce reselling or at least penalize those who do. Smart move? Depends on how you look at it I guess.

For them very much so. I buy 75%+ of my games used. They'll either make money off of you at the front end (retail price) or they'll get you later if you get it used and want all the MP maps.

It's definitely smart for them, and the idea of it doesnt really bother me. These are remade maps so they're well suited as a bonus. It's better than DRM or any other method of preventing piracy and reselling. Positive incentives FTW.

I'm thinking of Netflix that puts the disks in the little paper envelope thing, does Gamefly send the game in the original box? I'd assume they would remove all the bonus stuff as it has 48 hour gold XBL cards, free maps, etc. Just a guess though.

It would be nice if there was a nonranked horde and multiplayer mode, for those of us who don't want to wait 5 minutes in between each game while the fucking matchmaking system jerks itself off.

15 minutes and 23 seconds to actually start the game... after which 2 of my team mates immediately quit, and my team got dominated 5-0. Back to COD4 for multiplayer!

I'm a little disappointed in the difficulty level of this game.

GOW had three difficulty levels; Casual, Hardcor and Insane. GOW was one of the first games I played when I bought my 360 in October '07. I thought I'd have a difficult time adjusting to playing FPS on a console after several years of PC FPS gaming so I played GOW on 'Casual'. Several months ago, and many console FPS games later, I played GOW on 'Insane'. I loved it.

With GOW2 you now have four choices of difficulty; Casual, Normal, Hardcore and Insane. I started playing this one on Normal thinking that it'd be slightly more difficult than GOW's Casual, but the Normal difficulty in GOW2 seems to be easier than Casual on GOW. I wanted to start the game over on Hardcore, but I was towards the end of Act 2.

Anyone else agree?
