That's not a complete list is it? <Edit - apparently not as said above> For a game that heavily favors road racing, they really should include the Boss 302 Mustang instead of just the 429. I want to recreate some vintage Trans-Am racing...

i don't get why they'd release the cars on that list, though. aside from the 69 charger, there's not a muscle car on that list. all i see are sports cars (corvette, viper, cobra) and wannabes (all the modern mopars).

if a muscle car list does not include a 64 GTO, it's not a muscle car list.


on a side note, i'm not a big fan of racing sims, but i love arcade racers. it looks like this one will start as an arcade style racing game and you can strip away assist layers until it becomes a sim. cool concept. i may have to check this one out. i hate having to spend more time "tuning" the vehicle rather than actually racing it.

burnout paradise might have been my ultimate racing game had they used real cars.

Forza 3:

First I was totally schocked how great it's playable with the wheel. I dont think there is console game that gives you so much feedback. You can go in a little drift and always know when the car goes over the limit. It makes so much fun driving on the edge of controlling and loosing the car

But because it was the E3 demo i cant tell you much more. The graphics looks great. Cant tell you much about the Sound because it was to loud there..


After all i think Forza 3 will be one of the best console racers as long the career and Mutiplayer mode is also great.

The Fanatec Wheel

Did not played much with it. For me it feels much to sensitive on the wheel. The pedals were great.. But You can still change so many settings on the wheel..
I think I will read some reviews first and maybe will wait for a lower price on eBay.
The MS wheel is still doing a pretty good job.

Yes, the US gets a preorder car (another Audi R8 skin).

VIP is for those who get the Limited Collectors Edition which is only available through Gamestop, it gives you special privileges on the auction house and the new "community storefront" as well as a special car pack that includes the Corvette ZR1, Ferrari F430 Seuderia, Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggera, Porsche 997 GT3 RS, and the Aston Martin DBS. Sadly, it's the only part of the collectors edition that I want, I'm hoping that add it to the market place as I don't really want to pay $20 more for the LCE.

Viper GTS

The ZR-1 is part of the VIP car pack, all of the VIP cars are exclusive to that pack, they're not just reskins. The LCE and pre-order cars are all just reskins.

If you don't get the VIP pack you're missing the GT3 RS, Scuderia, ZR-1, etc entirely, they won't be in-game.

My hope is that they release the VIP pack over XBL for download. If it's cheap enough I'll downgrade my pre-order with Gamestop (I checked to make sure I could do it) to the normal version and I'll just download the VIP pack. It's got the only cars and features I want from all of the LCE content (a bit stupid if you ask me).
