Good riddance to the fundie opportunist.

You are Godless. :p
I'll take that as a compliment.

I quite enjoyed the religious attack on her opponent - her religious opponent. I mistakenly had put fundies in a box - thought I knew what they were about - this redefines them.

No, I own a new custom built townhouse with a yard. Do your homework please, Belmont has one of the best public school systems in the state. Winchester and Lexington also have great school systems but I prefer being closer to the city.

You can't even afford a house in a below average town? Wow.

And no, I paid off my car years ago.

Sadly, I must admit I went to UMass, Amherst too. But went on to Babson College to get my MBA and in the future off to Med or Vet school.

Man, you're a bigger moron than I thought...if anything I am rather proud that I went to UMass, even though it was a conservative such as myself's nightmare...but it was truly refreshing when compared to the smaller schools I was used to...first a slam on volunteer firefighters and now a digg at a respectable state school, how does that shoe taste?

And here you suggest that I am elitest...your comment about Umass really reaks of asshole to me.

And last I checked, one of the best certainly isn't "the best"....Winchester, Newton, Lexinton were in the top ten...with Blemont trailing in at fifteen...

And since when is any townhouse "custom built"...that needham education seems to be working out rather well for you huh...and a yard, wow what a luxury...always nice to see a liberal elitist, just lives right up to my expectations, thanks for that.

And fuck the bike riders in cambridge...most are assholes who pay little to no attention to cars around them.

You are a serious moran. The slam wasn't against Umass it was going to the same school as you. And I never slammed Volunteer Fire Fighters. I slammed towns that can't afford to fund their own fire dept. Are you this dense?

You don't know what custom built means? Let me explain it you, I bought my unit pre-construction. Being a detached unit, I had the opportunity to customize everything but the foot print. Location/number of windows/doors, size of the rooms, flooring, location of outlets/etc, cabinets, kitchen design, etc.

Since, you work in Cambridge you should have a clue how much new construction with yard space goes for. Here's a hint, a block from me a new townhouse sold this summer for $100k over asking pushing it > $1 million. Does your townhouse even have a yard in I'm too embarrassed to tell you where I live?

I would post a link but you'll just refute it with your ignorance but Belmont has a higher ranked elementary, middle school and high school than Lexington. And you know what, when I do have kids, I could reconsider and buy into Lexington, Newton or Winchester(which I almost already did b/c I would be so close to the Fells for mtbing and my dogs).

And again your comments about bikers confirms how much of a low-class individual you are. But I laugh knowing that you live in a state that you hate and have to drive into Cambridge to work while I walk to mine.

So, let's conclude. You hate this state. Can't afford to live in a town with a good school system. An asshole to bikers. Have poor reading comprehension skills. Bad mouth particular towns(ie. Slumerville, Needham and Lynn) as if they're below you. You sound like a wannabe elitist(ie I wouldn't live in those towns). You sound like a classy guy.

I'm calling Merkley in the OR Senate race right now. The numbers seem tight right now, but most of the uncounted votes are from Multnomah county, which should go heavily for Merkley.

So give the Dems their 57th seat.

Stevens is leading?!?!?!?

Yeah...seems like it so far.... I can't believe it... :(
wtf is wrong with Alaskans. their image is ruined for a long time with Palin and Stevens.

Who knows? Must be the cold and darkness of the winter months. I just moved up here a couple years ago, and asked my buddy at work, why would anyone vote for Stevens right now since he got convicted. His answer, "Well, he's not officially convicted until he gets sentenced." I just kinda

Wow is the Minnesota senate race close. This might not be decided for a few weeks after a recount if it stays this close. Last I saw only a few hundred vote difference.

Dang, 78 vote margin for Coleman right now.

edit: lol, back up to 1500 vote margin for Coleman. I think Franken should be encouraged because it looks like there are more Franken votes out there in the areas that have not fully reported.

Caaveman, this has to end...as it is pointless and I am tired of arguing

though I find your choice of words re. UMass interesting, and I quote:

Sadly, I must admit I went to UMass, Amherst too. But went on to Babson College ....

So really, from that I was to infer that you were distraught with my having attended? any reasonable or in my case not so reasonable person would have concluded from above what I did given the context and lack of clarity.

Let me sum it up

We will never agree....

you consider me a low class, potty mouth, poor idiot who should move out of the state to raise the IQ

I find you to be a typical liberal moron from cambridge that is fine with the corrupt political system, dominated by a party that claims it is for the middle class yet consistantly turns their back on them

The "funny" thing is that we both went to and graduated UMass Amherst

If anything you should be glad that this state is dominated by people like you as here my vote really doesn't count.

Wheras I am not at all surprised a liberal from cambridge is a dick

I dunno Matt, it seems like you're the one who thinks he's better than the rest of us living places like Wakefield, Everett and Malden. You ever thought of moving tho California? There are right wing bastions there, the weather's great and there are plenty of people living there that think they are better than the rest.

BTW why did you vote no on #2? Don't you think money could be better spent elsewhere than on prosecuting Hippes who like to smoke pot?

So Coleman currently only has a lead of about 700 votes over Franken. Do they have a runoff in Minnesota if its close? Or is it winner takes all, even by a few votes?

Thanks :)

Hey Red,

Honestly I don't think there is anything wrong with those towns per say, I just don't think their school systems are that good, especially when one considers what people pay in taxes and other fees here...

Heck I live pretty close to Wakefield myself and like the area overall, just am hard pressed to send my kid to my local public school. I remeber as a kid going to Wakefield and Wilmington as they both had outdoor and indoor RC car tracks for racing which sadly are gone (not that I have time for that anymore)...and we even bought our last car at the 128 Saab, really like that lake in the center of town.

Capt wants to paint me as an elitist....now if I came on here saying that I had to live in snooton or dover just because anyone who is anyone lives there then I would agree with the yuppie doucebag reference...but my only gripe is with the school systems, for what we pay in taxes there should be no need for overrides, every school should be decent, and the wealth should be redistributed from town to town instead of Newton getting a 200 mill high school

And for number 2, originally I was all set to vote for it but I decided to just be an A hole and vote against it knowing that it would be passed anyway.

I am really upset by the dog racing thing..not that I gamble, but I have many fond memories as a kid of sneaking into raynham taunton underage and watching the races.

And for Cali, my company has a remote site in SanDiego which I would love to move to/work at but that would be no better than here...

Ultimately I would like North Carolina or back to northern VA inside the beltway.

The irony is strong with bozack. I don't bad mouth towns(calling them ghettos or say I'm not willing to live in a particular town), yet I'm the elitist? I haven't bad mouth any town or anyone except him. He thinks property taxes are high here but doesn't compare them to NH. He really needs to take a look in the mirror.

He hates this state, hates Cambridge, hates liberals but lives in MA and works in Cambridge. Too funny.

You think if he could actually come put together a sound argument with stats he would be at least be able to convince his wife to be able to relocate to NH and commute to MA for work.

And his excuse for voting against the ban on greyhound racing is b/c of his fond memories of going to the races as a kid. That's a great reason. Thankfully the ban will occur.

Always taking it out of context Cave boy...I said that cost of living as due to taxes and fees here is high especially when compared to NH and others...

Yet talking of what Cave thinks people can and cannot afford and weakly attempting to mock simply because they don't agree with his point of view is not at all elitist...or suggesting that NH is somehow worse off because of their volunteer fire departments compared to our paid staff departments isn't elitist at all...they got by for this long using their current system?

And for my wife, well she loves a fifteen minute commute or less which is why NH is out for her.

And yes yes, thankfully the ban will occur and put people out of work because the ninnys like you are in the majority here, nothing more, nothing less

Whatever Capt...like I said, this argument is tired...we will never agree so why bother.

Ok, how long until all of the absentee and provisional ballots are counted in Alaska and Minnesota? When will we know the final total?
