They do explain why there are chainsaws. There's a PDA somewhere with an email complaining about a wrong shipment of chainsaws. But yeah, closet zombies=dumb.
i.e. means in example or something like that.
Word. I'd have much rather had zombies crawl out of vents/ceiling/random locations than closets. I mean, that way you'd be looking warily at every grate, stairwell, etc, like you do when you hear those damned spiders/babyflies.
If nothing more, at least the Closet Zombies justify the purchase of a 5.1 setup.
