wait so there's no benefit for going higher in MP levels? that makes no sense.
if paragon xp really isn't boosted why would anyone go higher than MP1 then? (outside of the challenge of beating it) but if drops are the same, its just for shit

Don't worry about it. It will start this way, people will complain, blizzard will make it effect drops and paragon exp next patch.

In the meantime, you do get a MF boost using it that goes over 300%, so thats a draw to do higher MP levels.

Does anyone have experience crafting lately? I got back into the game, and crafted (5) of the 6x affix 1H swords. Got an amazing 805 dps 1, and a 730 dps one with great stats, then 2 crap and a middle ground one. With that sucess I decided crafting must be fixed now, so I bought the 2H sword and popped 7 of them. Not one had dps over 800, thats right, lower than my 1H crafts...

I wasted 2M gold crafting, plus mats and felt really defeated. Couple that with my inability to sell anything on the AH or get uniques to drop and I lost most of the will to play again. I was enjoying my Wizard (level 50) so maybe I'll finish that char off and shelf my barb for a bit.

holy

woke up middle of the night, checked my AH completions tab and my offhand weapons(which I mentioned about in an earlier post) sold for 250m(before fees) 212.5m after 😵

What kind of stats did your offhand weps have or can you link that earlier post?

Found another legendary last night, Cindercoat.

It's decent, better than what I was using for my mage, but I just wish it had more base armor. I think mine only has 290 something. But it's a decent piece of gear for me at the moment. I can't complain. I'm at 6 legendaries at under 70 hours played.

My biggest issue is figuring how to price items for the AH. Because of the enormous amounts of rares you get in one run and the time it takes to analyze each one, I'm always left feeling like just vendoring them or if I think an item is good, I'll throw it on the AH with some random price on it. And then I'll read on these forums or D3 forums about how someone sold a rare for 50M or something and the stats they described on it sound very similar to something I had that I probably vendored lol.

Just bought two Radiant Star Emeralds for 532 Gold. I guess someone accidentally sold them for the default price.

How where you able to buy that at that price? I know gem prices are averaged so even if one made a mistake you'll still buyout the price of the last 10 trades.

Got this and I'm wondering how much it could be worth... Can't really find similar Amulet on the AH.

Senechal Grinder:
+13 Max Damage
+250 STR
+64 INT
60% crit damage
Health globde + 5116

Sorry for the noob question, but what should I do with the yellows I have that I can't move on the AH? Should I salvage the mats or just vendor them?

Thanks

You could probably salvage some of them at first and keep the mats, then vendor the rest.

You will end up with so many rares/yellows as you do runs that eventually, you'll have more mats than you will ever use.

Yeah I was wondering that too.

I thought the only option was to buy gems at the average price.

I believe it just shows the average price, however, it sells you the lowest items first. So, if someone put something up for $1 and another for $5 the average would show $3, however, if you purchase just 1, you get it for $1 and the average changes.

Not much really. for tanking, you need loh ad all res. DPS, you need crit chance along with that damage and ias. 250 str, is a decent amount, but int instead of vit or all res kinda messes that ammy up.

I got really lucky. I bought the two gems listed at 13.3 Million gold each. After completing the order I hit the Completed tab and saw the two gems along with all my gold refunded. So I saved 26.6 Million gold.

That right there is like finding 2 legendaries.

it's very easy to mis-sell gems... there's no 5 min timer so as soon as you list it, it usually goes poof.

When I sell that stuff, it's always good practice to double check your prices before you submit.

That's probably a bigger issue with higher level gems because so few people can make them and they're so high value. Everything below flawless radiant star (the one above star?) has taken at least 30 seconds to sell for me. No idea on above since I can't justify blowing that much gold.

So, turns out my capout goldfind is 391%, but 3000 gold stacks are still pretty rare. Think I can do 400k per hour now with 360 gf on my DH.

Are you being modest in those projections? I'd think you could do more. I get 200k/hour while going through A1 and zero gear for GF/MF (I don't stop to pick up rares, click bodies, or go out of my way for anything; PL24, NV5 within the first 5 minutes...so 147%?).

Just finished Normal mode yesterday evening and did a quick co-op run through of Act I Nightmare difficulty. As of right now, I'm currently lvl 38.

The question I have is whether I should move on to Act II Nightmare or replay Act I so as to get some better and more xp.

Thanks for the advice.

Regards,

Do what you feel is appropriate for your character's ability, your playstyle, and your level of enjoyment. The Acts don't particularly become increasingly difficult between each other until Inferno difficulty. Once you get to Inferno, Act II is basically like Inferno level 2, Act III Inferno level 3, etc...

If you really want to up your game, start finding some deals on the auction house. I honestly would consider the auction house a sort of a cheat, but without it you'll be starved for finding decent upgrades without sinking a lot of your time into item grinding (this should be reserved for level 60!). In the next patch, that will change a bit with better items more often, and also being listed on the auction house.

It's your choice. Do it for your level of enjoyment with the game. 🙂

Yeah, I've been looking for stuff -- got a decent chest and wand (well, decent at the time I got them) for relatively reasonable price. Problem I have now is that I'm pretty low on funds (only about 125k).

Also, here is my current gear: http://us.battle.net/d3/en/profile/Aristides-1704/hero/3783425. What items/stats should I prioritize increasing?

Thanks so much for all the advice.
