no money unless i get a godly drop to dps up more, already running a 90% and 80% crit gem in my weapons. MH has inherent 50% crit dam already. it took me literally months to go from 5k dps to 50k dps slowly upgrading as i had funds.

get more str

damn need to switch out to a rend build then now that sprint was nerfed to shit
basically you need to double your LOH and then some to maintain the healing you had before ugh.

end of low and med geared WW barbs r.i.p

Skill Rune – Run Like the Wind
Proc coefficient reduced from 0.2 to 0.08

Yep, Blizzard has pretty much annoyed the *(^& out of me with their constant nerfs to classes.

I went from 0 dps to my current 27k dps in about 2 weeks on very minimal AH purchases.

However, i feel like I've hit a wall. Drops never are upgrades for me and if I try to buy gear from AH, it'd cost me way more than I have gold. I only have about 1.6M.

Not sure how people get to 80k+ dps. Do you just need to get lucky with a godly drop, sell it on the AH, and reinvest that money into better gear?

My DH is at about 65k dps if I dump all survival gear and just focus on dex, crit chance, AS, and crit %dmg using stuff I found over 200+ hours (loser...). This is with a 1050 dps weapon with 120% crit dmg increase. The best weapons I've found have 1250 dps (melee and suck with other stats), and I've seen stuff on the AH with 1400+ dps. That might help bump you up.

I'm pretty sure you can gear up with less than 1m. Someone did a 400k to 1m challenge before 1.03 and i would imagine that mid gear are very cheap due to the supply. It's just a matter of finding the best items at your price range, there are a ton of decent items that doesn't cost much.

that and you can find a lot of bargains just by bidding.

I just spent all my gold to convert my barb to WW. Ugh

Should I be looking for Life on Hit as one of the stats on gear?

How does LoH work exactly for a wizard since they are using spells. Is it whenever a spell does damage is when it counts as a "hit" and gives me HP?

every spell damage is a "hit" and gives you life, and ticks (for example energy twister) gives you a life as well. They have coefficients on everything.

I have about 900 LOH for CM tanking and its good enough to keep me alive on most of act 3 unless I run into molten firechain asshole elite packs.

As ranged you need less, but yeah get some LoH, you will want it for reflect packs at least. The DH I run with keeps a lower dps weapon with LoH and switches as needed (reflect). Melee tends to stack more so they get LoH on jewelry and weapons.

At higher DPS values life steal is more viable. There's a bit of math to compare the two and you have to look up coefficients for the spells you are using and the % reduction to life steal in inferno.

Storm Armor
Ability has been redesigned to periodically deal 100% weapon damage as Lightning to nearby enemies
Skill Rune – Reactive Armor
Redesigned to deal 70% weapon damage as Lightning to ranged and melee attackers
Skill Rune – Strike Back has been renamed “Thunder Storm”
All other runes remain unchanged

So Storm Armor does 100% now, was 70%, but Strike now called Thunder Storm does 91%. I think they forgot to bump up the rune or left it out of the patch notes.

What should i expect to pay for
1hand (sword or fist so 1.4 aps)
830 dps
175 dex
70% crit dmg
Socket

Edit: also considering life steal

Depends on what class you are.

With sharpshooter maxed (so my crit dmg is what we are talking about), I'm at about 110k with my DH. I've got a 1084 dps weapon, and just pile on as much dex as I can. Primary stats I look for in gear are dex, all res, crit dmg.

I have bought stuff on the AH, but have found quite a bit of what I have, and haven't had a godly drop yet that I've sold. The max I've sold something for is 850k I think. Maybe there were a few older things I sold for 1-2M but I've never had any 10M+ items.

I think I am going to go for a Mempo due to the attack speed on it over an IK Helm. Will try for one with vitality and strength.

Opinions?

sounds like a plan. i have been going for one also. one with roughly 77 all resist and some strength and a socket. I have seen the ones without a buyout go around 7-8M, havent been able to get one though yet. I am routinely checking for them though.

Pickup radius is awesome. I have it on my shoulders. I specifically bought my shoulders due to that. I overpaid at the time, 60 million, and it was worth it.

gold pickup radius would be nice, i have to stand on each gold coin individually to pick them all up 😛

spent an arm and a leg to get critical hit dmg/chance for my monk which costs a lot. I now have 437% crit hit damage with 18% crit chance and 1.61 atk speed but my DPS is only 25k? O dear. I spent a lot of money to have my DPS and life drop by 5k. I know the built in DPS "meter" doesn't take everything into account but pretty sure it takes crit dmg into account.

Question about Energy Twister and the Storm Chaser rune.

It says you can stack up to 3 charges and then release them on the next sig spell.

What is the point of getting 3 stacks? Is the released tornado more powerful? The size definitely is the same whether you release with 1, 2, or 3 stacks.
